    Smile Currently Eating

I'm having, in turn, brown toast with smoked salmon, then brown toast with acacia honey on top... and a glass of milk. Very nice indeed.... :icon12:

    MMM.....quite nutritious!

My dinner tonight will most likely consist of 3 glasses of Guiness. YUM! :icon12:
Should the subduing talisman, the Cross, break, then will come roaring forth the wild madness of the old champions, that insane Berserker rage, of which the northern poets sing. That talisman is brittle, and the day will come when it will pitifully break. The old stone gods will rise from the long-forgotten ruin and rub the dust of a thousand years from their eyes; and Thor, leaping to life with his giant hammer, will crush the Gothic cathedrals!

    ---Heinrich Heine

I'm having Pierogi (stuffed with potato, cottage cheese and various spices) with caramelized onion and pork cracklings. Polish dill pickles and beet salad on the side. Carrot-strawberry juice to drink.

    Just finished.

Toast goes well with everything doesn't it?:

I'm having T-Bone Steak and French fries. I never eat a dinner without downing a good portion of protein.

My fridge was empty so I just boiled some rice with vegetables. Not really bad for a light evening snack. Better luck tomorrow

    i concur.

she sacrificed one of the chickens
(he was never going to lay eggs).

    she will skin him,
    butterfly him
(slice up through the ribs to the clavicles,
    so, he will spread-out flat),
    toss him on the grill
and then on to a platter.

    we shall share him,
    during the sun-setting.

That sounds like my normal fare... I usually do the rice/veggies thing 4-5 times a week. But tonight, oh boy did I treat myself to something nice eyes: :

rice, roasted chicken, and vegetables. ani:

I love to make large, formal meals for family and friends, but for myself I eat a rather plain, repetitive diet. Just give me a carrot or cucumber to gnaw on and I couldn't be happier. :icon12:
