That's the crux of the question for me. I couldn't care less what kind of crazily cruel traditions foreigners have. However, when they attempt to bring those traditions into my back yard, then there is a problem.

As to the human sacrifice question, I wouldn't be unopposed to sacrificing murderers to Woden like we did in the old days.

I agree Drim, that it is the job of each people to preserve their own culture, but others can help by placing themselves in wilfull isolation. that way dilution would be zero or at least minimal.

The Folkish man must care first about his people, fight for them, keep their spirit alive and therefore the Folk alive, but there are many Folks, and all men, no matter their origins, must all fight to preserve their Folk against the forces of relativism, globalism, and universalism. I care deeply if traditional Japanese culture is overrun by American anti-culture as deeply as I care if traditional European culture is destroyed by globalism. I cannot fight for the Japanese, since I am not Japanese, and it is not my duty, it is theirs, but I feel deep pain in my heart for the death of bushidō. Likewise for the ancient Indian culture, Chinese culture, even the African tribal cultures which have been destroyed by post-Enlightenment meddling. Each of these has massive value as native cultures, and while European and Germanic culture has distinct importance to us, it does not mean that foreign Folks are less threatened by globalisation and universalism, nor does it detract from their plight as they slowly die by the ever-advancing plague of modernity.

When modernity came for the Japanese, I said nothing, for I was not of the Samurai. When Christianity destroyed the African tribes, I said nothing, for I was not a Bushman. When globalisation starved the Arabs, I said nothing, for I was not an Arab. But when it came to Europe, there was no one left to say anything for me.

If we do not fight for Folkish culture against universalism, mono-culturalism, and globalisation, it shall be the death of us all. Specific cultures must be preserved or culture itself will perish. I fight with Germanic steel, but I will fashion and sword and shield for the African tribesman who wants to keep his ancient ways as well, for we share a common foe.

I only care about Germanic and European culture. Germanic culture, because it is my own, and the other European cultures because they belong to the space in my country's immediate vicinity. I would lie if I said I were indifferent to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, or Italy losing their cultures and adopting foreign, uneuropean ways, for the simple fact that it would affect Austria. I wouldn't want Islam next door, to give just an example. However, if it happened for a tribe in one of the African or Asian countries to succumb to extinction, I wouldn't shed too many tears about it.

I only care about the preservation of 'my' culture, however I do feel that no matter what culture someone is they should have pride and a desire to preserve 'their' culture. So perhaps in that way I think every culture SHOULD be preserved but it is only my celto-germanic culture that I care about.

Should Gypsy culture be preserved? It is, after all, a culture that is been based in Europe for centuries. It has its own distinct language and traditions.

"Are the Roma a Folk unto themselves?" I think is the question to ask here. I would say yes, absolutely, though they are nomadic, much like the Jews, they still have their own Folk and, unlike the Jews, do not actively seek integration. Not only that, but they are very closely related to our Indo-Aryan cousins on the subcontinent. The Folk is a cultural unit tied to the spirit of the people, it exists therefore in a spiritual rather than a physical realm, which is why after being ejected from their homeland a Folk can still survive as a Folk. While it is the soil in general which gives them their life, it is not the physical place which makes the Folk, but the Folk which defines the physical place. So yes, indeed, the Roma should fight for their survival and preservation, and we should endorse this effort to preserve their Folk, and defend them against integration and globalisation.

    Indifferent About It

The problem with the acceptance of other cultures is the creeping moral relativism that currently paralyizes Western Culture making it difficult if not impossible to fight for what we hold dear in any numbers.

I am concerned with the culture of my Ancestors and the related European cultures. Others should be concerned about their own and take care of their own issues. We have enough problems to take care of.

I also happen to think that some are just problematic and dont get along well with others. Because we have been too accepting we have repeatedly paid the price for this one. And we still have yet to fully recover.

All cultures should be preserved in their own areas. Preserving black or Arab culture in Europe doesn't make sense to me.
