For those of you who said they would vote for the white man, no matter what...lets say he won and everything kept going up, gas, groceries, and pay did not? Wouldn't you regret that? Or is it just one of those " can't win for loosing?"

If a black man becomes President...what can he do for blacks that would really make a difference in OUR everyday life?

Is your reasoning for not voting for him, because he is black or because you don't want a black man to be in control, or both?

If Obama wins, how will you feel? How will you feel if he concurs many problems in the US? Will you eat your words? :p

All things considered, I'm going for Obama. If he benefits me, his ethnicity means little to me. Hell: at this point anyone who wouldn't send us farther into the hole than we are now would be an improvement.

8 years of shrub eyes: have left this country in ruins. I don't care what Obama looks like- I will never vote for a Republican pres candidate.

White guilt? Nah: I flushed the idiot concept of group guilt a LONG time ago.

I don't vote. So to me it makes no difference. Whoever is elected will serve international jewry and it's corporate friends. If blacks think for on minute Obama is going to get in there and turn America upside down they're mistaken. He serves black interest about as much as Mccain serves white interests.

Although, I tend to believe Mccain is the person who the powers that be want elected. I believe Obama is there to scare whites into voting for Mccain. Remember, the media controls who gets elected not voters.

    An Answer to this Question

I could and might very well vote for a black man IF HE WERE NOT ANTI-WHITE. Barack Obama and even more so, Michelle Obama ARE anti-white.
Even if I agreed with his politics, I could NOT vote for him.

If he were to win, I would be, at best, VERY uneasy. I do not trust the man and wouldn't even if he were white. His ultra-liberal socio-political views and his lack of respect for traditional American institutions, e.g. our national anthem, inter alia, I find very disturbing.

If a white man espousing the same views were running for the presidency, I could not vote for him either.

??? Your politics list you as center-right. What is even remotely center (forget right) about Obama's politics??? The man is a socialist that sees more government control as the answer to every problem. It is out of control, un-Constitutional government that has caused all our problems.

The hard question for me would be------Would I vote for Ron Paul if he was black. Yes, if it would bring about a more Constitutional government.

If McCain loses, his faction (neo-conservatives) can be blamed (and deservedly so), and can be de-legitimized and driven from dominance in the party, and hopefully bring more traditional conservative values back into the party.

If McCain wins, he won't be any better than Obama, especially since there will be all sorts of 'calls for racial reconciliation', meaning he will enact anti-white laws to appease the blacks and far-lefties upset if Obama loses, and McCain will give in to them like he always does.

Obama is black only due to semantics, in all truth, he's half black and half white but we chose to call him black because we can't fit him in a category.

A better term would be "mixed" because black in itself doesn't imply mixed... besides that black/white doesn't really equal race to me as it's just an arbitrary judgement based on skin colour.

Anyways, regarding the question at hand (which has nothing really to do with Obama/McCain anyways), I don't really find many candidates to be ideologically similar to me, so if there were to be a candidate who shared my views, I would probably vote for him, despite him being "black". If he had the same ideas as me, he probably wouldn't encourage mixing, in fact he'd probably be running in his native land and I wouldn't really have anything to do with it
