    I can't afford to put into words what I feel here so I won't. The Soviet-Canuckistani thought police will have a hayday.

    But I will say this: When a tyrannical government forces un-constitutional laws on it's own people, it's the duty of the people to act accordingly. The South had every right to secession and I'll drink to those gallant men who without a light heart stood firm against the forces of commerce.

    I support secession if the secessionists try to build a system closer to my political believes;
    and I'm against it if they don't.

    You get the picture
    I support all peaceful secession movements.

    Competition between businesses is good, and the same holds true for inter-government competition. It forces governments to be more competent.

    If we had a one world government, persecuted citizens could not cross a border to a freer regime. Voting with your feet is more powerful than voting as a stationary citizen.

    I'm all for it. Succession, decentralization, states' rights, in whatever way practical and possible.

    But maybe it's better to get those people who want a political system different off in some other country, so they will no longer be able to influence your country in their direction.

    Deporting parts of the population is not very appreciated internationally;
    is not nice;
    and goes against my political believes.

    I'm opposed to secession because it would at this time lead to various non-White nations - Aztlan, New Afrika, the Cuban Republic of Miami, etc... and I'm opposed to surrendering territory to any of these groups, especially since the Hispanics & even some of the Negroes have been in the US less time then I've been alive. There are some exceptions I would support. Let the Indians reservations secede - and require the Indians to stay on those reservations unless they have visas to enter the US. I might even be welling to allow Hawaii some special autonomy. Give Puerto Rico independence, whether they want it or not. But as for the rest, repatriate them to their native countries, where they or their patents were born. Buy land in Africa for a US Negro homeland. And then maybe we can talk of breaking up the US into Anglo-Germanic nations.

    What about importing an alien population to radically change the demographics & politics of a nation?

    That's precisely the reason why I support secession and self-determination.

    Separated survival vs mutual mixing.

    But it's also a form of surrender. And if you make concessions to them, they will eventually ask for more. Especially in the case of Europe where the newcomers have been there for less then 60-years & have their own nation states to return to. What is going on is colonization.

    Is internationally at least accepted;
    in most cases not nice, because it leads to forced integration;
    and goes against my political believes only if not done on a private base.
