I don't think the concept of 'soulmate' is very theologically sound because it is incompatible with free will, but I do believe some people are incredibly well-matched or suitable for each other.
'Well, what are you?" said the Pigeon. "I can see you're trying to invent something!" "I-I'm a little girl," said Alice, rather doubtfully. She found herself at last in a beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and the cool fountains.

I am convinced, though I could not debate it with a skeptic, that my wife and I made a between-life pack to be together at this point in our lives, and are, thus, soul mates.

Yes. I know my wife is my soulmate, because, for one reason or another, none of my previous relationships lasted very long. She and I just clicked. And we keep on loving each other through good times and bad.
Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

I'm the most romantic person ever but...

On March 16, 2007 the phone rang, I saw Thomas - on the caller ID.!!!!!!!!! Its Him! I remember thinking. I hadn't talked to Thomas now in 8 years, hadn't actually seen him in about 12 years. We talked, we talked about everything, about how things use to be, the funny things we did & anything & everything there was to talk about.

By April 26 I couldn't take it anymore, I packed my stuff & left the state to go to Alabama to be with Thomas. I moved in with him the first day... how weird I know but it damn sure worked! I had never in my life made such a big change. We were married on August 17, 2007.
Her name tab says she's 37... since 2007 was 12 years ago that means she was 25 years old and already had two children when she left her partner for a man who she had last spent time with when she was 13 years old. She then moved in with this man the first day she saw him in many years.

Anyone who comes from a divorced family or had friends whose parents were divorced knows that from the kids' perspective this is a lot less romantic than it seems to the mother. I really can't emphasize enough that people should wait to have children until they know they are ready for it.

I'd like to believe so. Eventhough we have free will, I believe it's possible that God might place a certain person in our path, who is compatible and ideal for us. Although our choice pertains to free will, if it was part of God's plan, he will adjust the circumstances and give us the necessary "nudge". Other than that I believe in the sanctity of marriage and in honoring our marriage vows for the rest of our lives.

I don't believe one and only soulmate theory.

I think there are group of people who are/would be fine to us ... who of those we will really ever meet (and what kind of conditions) will determinate with whom we will end up.

After I got married, I found my soul-mate- much to my regret (one of those 'if had just waited' moments). Life took us in different directions, but after 15 years apart we're still in contact every so often and there's still that spark. So yeah, she's my soul-mate... the problem is, someone else is using her for now. I love my wife, but I have no doubt that either in this world or- more likely- the next I'll see the other again. Sorry if this sounds all mushy, but every time I think about her I get this tightness in my chest and I miss her so much it hurts.
When someone asks, "What would Jesus do?" remind them that flipping tables and chasing people with a whip is entirely possible.
