I am partial to King Ludwig II of Bavaria. I plan to start a thread about him here at some point proposing that he is a more interesting focus for Germanic preservation than any twentieth-century politician. He is best known for his extravagant castles that kept numerous Bavarian peasants employed, for his support of Wagner at a crucial point in his career, and for his early designs of a viable flying machine. He was dismissed by historians and by his own government as a madman but he was simply ahead of his times.

No one comes to mind besides Charlemagne, Martel and Showa (Hirohito), I'm not particularly a fan of Monarchs.

I've always found Elizabeth I's distate for gypsies, Jews and blackamoors to be rather endearing.
Monarchy: Etymology. From Greek monos "alone" + arkhein "to rule". As such, it includes any person who ruled absolute. Therefore, I'm picking Hitler.![]()
-In kalte Schatten versunken...
(Heimdalls Wacht, In kalte Schatten versunken, stanzas 4-6)
