    Grin What's Your Typing Speed?

Here's a nifty little thing to test your typing skills.

    http://speedtest.10-fast-fingers.com/

I can type pretty fast and without looking at the keyboard, but I don't use the "proper" fingers for every key, because when we were learning how to type in elementary school my fingers were short and couldn't reach the keys they way they were teaching us, so I found my own way to make it work and now it's just become a habit

    w/ 0 errors

I usually average a bit higher, in the rare event that I'm intending to "pound something out", because I know what I'm supposed to be typing. I tend to type at a more leisurely pace; I just prefer to. Makes talking to people online who are slow at typing less awkward, as well.

I learned to type long before we started keyboard classes in school (6th grade), so I never bothered with any of that "homerow" bullcrap. The keyboarding teacher tried to shut me down for not using it, but by the end of 8th grade, the fastest homerow typer still wasn't done typing the same paragraph in half the time it took me to.
Polygamy: it might not be for you, but what right do you have to keep it from me?

99 wpm, no errors. To be honest I made an error but I caught it before so I just retyped the wrong part of the word

edit: by the way i found this site annoying because of the delay between rows of letters, it slowed my time down considerably.

I used to do a lot of data entry work a few years ago. Was up around 110 then, guess I've slipped a bit.

58 with all fingers. When I learned to type it was on a manual typewriter and I managed 35. I guess I just don't type very much :p

30 words per minute. I'm slow. But don't call me retarded. I tried to take it, but it was boring. I quit at about the second page.
