I feel that they are dangerous. For example......

EDMONTON - Serial killer wannabe, intentional executioner, horror moviemaker who crossed the line of art imitating real life, or a filmmaker and family man who just messed up.

Those are some of the descriptions of accused killer Mark Twitchell that were put forward Wednesday as the St. Albert independent filmmaker's first-degree murder trial began into the slaying of Edmonton man Johnny Altinger.

Jurors at the high-profile trial - which attracted international attention with the presence of two U.S. TV stations - listened to an explosive opening address by Crown prosecutor Lawrence Van Dyke, in which he said Twitchell wanted "the experience of killing another human being."

In order to do that, Twitchell - a 31-year-old married man with a three-year-old daughter - used an Internet dating service to lure Altinger to a rented garage on the pretext of a date or a possible sexual encounter, said Van Dyke.

And, once his "murderous trap was sprung," Van Dyke said Twitchell killed the 38-year-old Altinger by bludgeoning him over the head with a copper pipe and stabbing him to death with a hunting knife.

The packed courtroom then heard that Twitchell proceeded to dismember the dead body of his prey, and dispose of those remains down a City of Edmonton sewer.

Van Dyke told the jury Twitchell was a fledgling independent filmmaker and had rented the Mill Woods garage in the fall of 2008 to produce, direct, and film a very short fictional film in the genre of a horror or thriller movie.

The film was titled House of Cards and Van Dyke said the general plot was about a killer who lures a male victim to a location using an Internet dating service, and ultimately kills his victim, mimicking the actual murder allegation.

The jury heard Twitchell initially lured city man Gilles Tetreault to the garage on Oct. 3, 2008, using an Internet dating service identified as Plentyoffish.com, however Tetreault was able to fight off his attacker and eventually escape.

Van Dyke said Tetreault is expected to testify he was attacked from behind by a person wearing a hoodie and a hockey mask and then forced at gunpoint to lie down.

Then, on Oct. 10, 2008, Altinger was lured to the same garage on the pretext of meeting a young woman from an Internet dating service and was killed, said Van Dyke.

The jury heard that friends of Altinger became suspicious after getting e-mails three days later saying Altinger would be out of town as he had gone on a "nice, long tropical vacation" with a woman he had supposedly just met. The prosecutor told jurors that Altinger was reported missing and, based on an e-mail he sent a friend about the supposed meeting, police were able to find the garage and learn that Twitchell was the one renting it.

Twitchell denied any knowledge of the missing man, but police eventually got search warrants for the garage, Twitchell's home, his car and the home of his parents.

Court heard Twitchell was arrested and charged with Altinger's slaying on Oct. 31, 2008. Van Dyke told jurors police spoke with Twitchell on June 10 and said that Twitchell gave them information which led to the recovery of some of Altinger's remains in a sewer a couple of blocks from Twitchell's parents' home.

He added the remains showed "clear evidence of dismemberment," including cutting and sawing marks.

Prior to the opening statement, Twitchell pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, but guilty of interfering with human remains, but the Crown rejected the plea and said it would be proceeding on first-degree murder. The trial is scheduled for six weeks.
He was found guilty of course, and this can happen to anyone.

More honest? Nah, not really, but it's probably a better thing for those who are desperate, on a dating site they will meet women/men who are just as desperate, which might make it easier. They're there for the same reasons at least.

But I do agree with you to some extent, using forums like Skadi just to hook up with someone might disturb people a bit, this is a forum for debates as well. But on the other hand this might be the ideal forum to find love since we have a very important view in common when it comes to our people and the world of today. This is what I felt when I found love here, I couldn't have found my man in a better place.

But until that it's more of a "teenage crush", not really love.
This was also my thoughts before I had experienced it myself. Now that I have experienced it, I can tell that I was wrong.

Well yes, distance can be tricky sometimes. My man is from South Africa and I'm from Sweden, which you probably wouldn't consider as "geographically close enough". But, the world is quite small actually, and it works out just fine for us. There's a thing called "moving" you know, which means you can leave one part of the world to live in another.

It also depends a lot on the love couple in question. It becomes disturbing to others if they throw their love story in other people's faces all the time when online in the forum. In your case you seem to handle it with tastefulness, I didn't even knew you dated someone from Skadi until you just mentionend it.

I can agree with this. Finding National Socialists in Sweden today isn't very easy.

These are rare kooks, and can be found all sorts of ways. Many pick up women from bars & streets.

Main thing you gotta watch out for on these type of sites is ARA/antifa types and govt agents. One of my buddies from PAA/SF got in big trouble a few years back because an ARA person posed as a girl and got his personal info and reported it to the Canadian government (political incorrectness is illegal in that country). He eventually turned his websites over to Hal Turner...who turned out to be an American FBI operative.

Also, I have had a lot of suspicious 'girls' messaging me on Stormfront and NewSaxon over the years, though some actually turned out to be real.

At this point I think dating sites are worth a try. Its hard to find germanic women in some areas. Also its hard to get to know strangers nowadays. I know women who are creeped out by a guy who walks up asking for a number or anything really. So at least with the sites you know the people want to meet new people.

    I've tried them. Totally useless.

Gentlemen: hot women don't need to go on dating sites to get men. They simply stroll into a bar or party and get what they want.

That means if you see a hot girl on a dating site, one of two things are true
    1) they have no interest in meeting you at all, and are just there to collect compliments and laugh at you for trying
    2) it's a guy (probably bi-curious) who stole a pic of a hot girl and is just messing with you.

That leaves unattractive women, women with emotional problems, and women with kids looking for a second income.

Do you still want to pay money to join?

The kinds of guys women are likely to pick up in bars or parties are generally not the kinds of guys women want if they are looking for a serious relationship. Plus, if the men in your area all SUCK.....or if you're really busy as a second year medical student (which I was at the time I met my husband)....these sites can actually help out.

Of course....you have to go through the march of the losers for a time or two before you get lucky. I met seven weirdos before meeting my husband
