What Do You Think of the Bermuda Triangle?

It's funny cause not to long I saw a documentary on the Bermuda Triangle and I have done some research on it, only to find the truth, but really is there any truth to the name? Some people even say that it doesn't even exist. Some call it the "devil's triangle," I am personally confused and scared for any one that might even travel close to it.
Years ago it was said that Flight 19, which was five Navy bomber planes got lost there. It could have been that the leader of the group got lost or even crash landed on a deserted island, but come on, five planes that got lost in the same spot, or supposedly got sucked into a large whirlpool, no one knows the truth.
It is really an unexplained theory actually, ships have even been lost around there in the same supposed whirlpool. Scientist say that there are natural forces in the area of the Bermuda Triangle hence the name 'devil's triangle,' or that there might be of a third being around there. In Christopher Columbus' time he even said that his compass was acting strangely, and that he saw lights in that area. The Bermuda Triangle is said to be located in the Atlantic Ocean, Bermuda, the southern tip of Florida and Puerto Rico.
So for all of those disappearances, who is to say that it was the Atlantic ocean or the Bermuda Triangle that swallowed them whole. Even certain radars cannot even locate this area of the Atlantic. The truth of the Bermuda Triangle lies deeper then anyone knows, you would have to travel to the depths of the Triangle to see what there is that may actually be pulling ships and planes down into the sea, maybe a magnetic force or even "UFO's" so they say. Does any one have proof that this area is haunted by paranormal forces, a whirlpool, or even the third kind.
Who knows, until someone actually flies over it takes pictures or travels into that area of the sea, then there are many unexplained questions and unfinished business.
What do you think of the Bermuda Triangle? Did Amelia Earhart disappear in it?

Amelia Earhart disappeared in the Pacific.

I don't know if there is really anything to the Bermuda triangle. How many ships & aircraft have actually gone down there? Those that vanish tend to be small craft. Maybe its pirates.

When was the last time a major jetliner disappeared in the Bermuda triangle?

    Insurance fraud comes to mind.

Apart from that Americans are totally lousy navigators.
And all my youth passed by sad-hearted,
    the joy of Spring was never mine;
Autumn blows through me dread of parting,
and my heart dreams and longs to die.

The Bermuda Trangle was one of those cultural phenomena from the 1970s along with Von Danniken. Bookstores had larger and more conspicuous sections for "unexplained mysteries" than for science. That was the same historical period when new agers started worshipping dolphins.

Would you fly over the Bermuda? Is it just a myth? :

The Bermuda Triangle is indeed just a myth, more appropriate for anthropological or even Jungian analysis than for guiding one's own practical plans. I trust airline pilots to judge the safety of their itineraries.

No way its a place on the hollow earth where the unicorns fly up and get caught in jet engines!

In reality if anything is wrong in the bermuda triangle I would think its the earths magnetic field etc, nothing spooky.

There could be something strange going on there. Who knows? But I think it's exaggerated. I've heard among other explanations for why craft disappear there, Magnetic field distortions, whirlpools, Sea monsters, even a rift into another dimension.

Diving into Bikini triangles is much more fun anyway.
