I use my laptop 95% of the time. The screen on my desktop is just too big and that annoys me for some reason, I mean I'm not a gamer or something :o. Plus I also like being able to move around easily with my laptop.

I prefer a desktop-PC and I dont even have a laptop. A friend of mine has one, but I hate to handle the small keyboard there, and my eyes begin to hurt after a little time while looking on the small lcd-screen. eyes:

Desktop, because it's more versatile due to superior power.

    Desktops are great!

I've never used a laptop,I would probably like it but I wouldn't wanna use it all the time ...

Laptops are impossible to upgrade and that is something I do pretty often, so I use my desktop all of the time, unless I'm fixing my family's computers. :p

I use a laptop around 95 percent of the time because on my desktop Windows Vista has a problem.. but I do prefer desktops. They are more stable IMHO and I am a gamer.

I think the problem with your desktop is Windows Vista.

I used a laptop for about two years, it was an older model though, and the weight of it on my lap used to make my legs go slightly dead after an hour or so's use.

I mainly use the desktop (with good old XP-pro) now unless I'm away from home. In that case I use a laptop with a mini optical mouse. The optical mouse works on most surfaces such as car upholstery or my corduroy trousers () and is a faster and I find a more intuitive pointing tool than the laptops built-in touch pad.

The other advantage of the Desktop is that it's always on (file-sharing), so I don't lose any time booting it up or connecting to the internet. The desktop also has 2 gigs of memory and a plenty of space on the hard disk so it rarely suffers noticeable slow-down due to load, which was a frequent occurrence on the laptop.
