I just realised that women are inadvertently being asked their ages. At least I didn't start this topic, so the blame doesn't fall on me!![]()

I am too old to remember! LOl I'm over 40 to state, middle aged, and still feel healthy! I can understand why people in the forum talk about dating issues with the younger ages. There are no stages in life that are easy unless under 10 provided that you came from good family.
47, generation X, and my parents are boomers in their late sixties.
I remember life before Windows '95...That's the first OS I used with internet. The first computer I used was probably a village library electronic catalog in 1986, but preferred the flip card system and didn't take to computers until playing Apple games the next year in school. Back then, the floppy disk drives were external attachments. Only single colours existed for typing, such as white, orange and green, all on a black background.
I'm old enough to remember hippie beads in doorways and lava lamps.
I remember the "hippie types' that painted their rooms a solid black or red. I also remember green and gold toilets; the interior decorators had some really bad taste in those days! I did like the beads in the doorway though and velvet drapes. Do you remember waterbeds too?
16. It's kind of weird looking at posts made over a decade ago and thinking how I was just a baby back then - sort of surreal in a way.
46 as of today. An historical reconstructionist Germanic/Norse Heathen for 2 years now, offically.
