Merc, number 1 looks predominantly med to me. And her looks would be quite common in Greece, too.
Number 8 who looks mostly Med/Pontid to me, looks exactly like a greek colleague of mine (from Thessalonica). They even have a similar hazel eye color, although the greek's eyes are greener.
Number 4 and number 9 (especially 9) do not look european at all. Man # 2 has also a strange look. Anyone care to classify him?
Woman # 10 seems to be predominantly Dinarid. That's the same look that some Epirot greeks and Albanians have.
Woman # 5 has the most intriguing look, IMO. Can anybody take a shot at her?
I am also interested in man # 7.
The Mediterranid element is mostly gracile Eastmediterranid, sometimes more Pontid and Western looking Gracilmediterranid, Alpinoid being mostly the Asian Alpinoid form common in the Near East, some more European Eastalpinid looking.

6. Mediterranid with minor Armenoid.

9. Armenoid-Orientalid.
10. Cromagno-Alpinoid with other, probably Mediterranid and/or Anadolid influences.
Whats not as common as it should be for the Turkish is Anadolid and typical Armenoids, which might mean they are from higher classes and/or more Western areas. They mostly presented secular Turks as well...

Looks Cromagnoid-Dinaroid to me and inside of the European spectrum going after that picture, no matter where she is from.

Oh my! Very similar to some relatives of mine! Shouldn't be too surprising though, given the ethnic history of Anatolia.5.
I suppose the individuals in my family who resemble her would most likely be classed as Bruenn plus Dinarid/Littorid.
What I would like to ask, considering that the relatives in question have Irish blood, is about modern Galatia - how ethnically changed has the area become since the Gauls got there? How much of an impact did they really have in the first place?
What about Turkey as a whole? Is there any remaining sense of ethnic divisions dating from before the Ottomans, or has this been since obliterated?

Well, Nordid or Mediterranid + Dinarid or (progressive) Armenoid can produce similar results in many ways, though usually not really the same, even though there is an overlap.

European Turkey - also more European racially, more Mediterranid-Dinarid.
Western Turkey - still the strongest rests of the former Neolithic Mediterranids along the coastal lines in particular.
Anatolia - Anadolid (gracile Armenoid altered by Mediterranid), Armenid and stronger Aralid
Eastern Turkey - Armenoid and Iranid with Aralid influences
Asian Alpinoids, from more robust-Cromagno-Alpinoid to very reduced-pyknomorphic throughout the country as a minority element, similar to other part-Alpinised Europid areas.

Has some similarity with Diana Rigg who is Paleo-Atlantic. I guess she is mostly CM as well (previous classificaitons of her in the thread were wrong).
I always thought of her as an interesting looking face.
