Iraqis fire on two cars, mutilate corpses
FALLUJAH (Iraq) - Jubilant Iraqis dragged the corpses of as many as four contractors working for the US-led coalition through the streets here yesterday after they were killed in an ambush.

Dozens of local residents, holding shovels, threw themselves at the charred bodies, cutting off parts while shouting 'long live Islam'. At least three of the dead were American civilians.
Five American soldiers also died west of Baghdad yesterday when a bomb exploded under their military vehicle west of Baghdad.
And in the town of Baquba, north of Baghdad, 12 people were reported injured in a suspected car bomb attack.
It was one of the bloodiest days this year for the coalition governing Iraq but, in Washington, the White House vowed anew to stay the course.
'These are horrific attacks by people who are trying to prevent democracy from moving forward, but democracy is taking root,' said White House spokesman Scott McClellan.
He said the United States was holding fast to a June 30 deadline for handing over power in Iraq to a transitional Iraqi government.
'We mourn the loss of life and there is an important effort that is well under way in Iraq to provide the Iraqi people freedom and democracy and we will not turn back from that effort,' he said.
The scenes in Fallujah were reminiscent of the 1993 scene in Somalia, when a mob dragged the corpse of a US soldier through the streets of Mogadishu, eventually leading to the American withdrawal from the African nation.
'The people of Fallujah hanged some of the bodies on the old bridge like slaughtered sheep,' said local resident Abdul Aziz Mohammed.
The atrocities started when young men stoned the vehicles, which had been in flames following the attack with small arms fire by assailants who fled the scene.
One man beat a corpse with a metal pole. Others tied another body to a car and dragged it down a street.
'Fallujah will be the cemetery of the Americans,' shouted a man, hiding his face with a scarf.
'We are ready to kill them all. We are waiting for them to return to take these bodies and cars, and we will then cut them all to pieces. Let them come back, if they are real men.'
'Revenge, revenge for Saddam', the former Iraqi leader ousted by the US-led invasion troops last spring, he shouted.
One resident displayed what appeared to be dog tags taken from one body.
Residents said there were weapons in the cars. A US passport was apparently filmed beside one of the bodies.
Reuters Television footage from Fallujah showed two civilian cars ablaze.
Residents were shouting 'Long Live Fallujah' and 'Allahu Akbar' (God is Greatest) as they danced around the vehicles waving their arms in the air and making the victory sign.
Pictures showed at least one person kicking a burnt corpse as it lay on the ground and stamping on its head. -- Reuters, AP, AFP

Those Americans are fighting for the jew. So you should be happy they got toasted.
What the Irakis did to those human beings is not human. The instigators, because I am sure they exist must be caught, have their heads cut off and to do the same thing and the Americans to start playing football (soccer) with their heads. This would make things even.
I don't think we ought to be in Iraq in the first place. Having said that, it would not of disturbed me too badly if when the Iraqis were dancing jubilantly under the charred corpses hanging from the bridge if a couple of well placed missiles took out the whole structure with the dancing Iraqis on it. It could be seen as something of a Koranic lesson for the Iraqi people as to what is and what is not appropriate Islamic behaviour.![]()
Turman found a copy of The Graduate, and thought highly enough of the story that he made a movie he considered to be 90-percent faithful to the book.
But Turman and director Mike Nichols made one key adaptation, changing the Braddocks from WASP-y blonde characters into a dark-haired, more ethnic-looking family.

Muds killing whites in any fashion is something that I'm never glad about.Originally Posted by yihequan
Any Islamic leader that would openly praise the chopshoping of American citizens today would find a USMC boot against their front door tonight. What they publicly say will be a lot different than what is said behind closed doors. I don't have a problem with soldiers/diplomats dying because that is what they do...it can be part of the job. Even looking past the fact that these are white men. Ripping apart human bodies like jungle chimpanzees is something that deeply angers me. Yahoo removed the images of what they did to the corpses. You couldn't tell if the muds were beating charred car seats or human remains. There was nearly nothing recognizable left.Originally Posted by rhadley
No, those Americans were working for an Iraqi agency distributing food to the civilian populace.Originally Posted by yihequan
How do you know they were white? They were working for a company that hired Chileans, so they could have been them.Originally Posted by AngryPotato

"Them" Chileans were most probably White; Chile is one of the Whitest countries in the Western Hemisphere, but why do you care?
