Zauberspruch is correct that no one should see themselves as a mongrel. Genes get eliminated over time. We all have millions of ancestors of whom we know nothing about. 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,409 6,8000,16000,32000,64000,128000,256000,5 12000,1000000. This after 20 generations; 500 years. Of course most of these marriages are kin and so are an expression of race.
A person is what they appear to be at first sight with more deductions made on personal aquaintance and study of character. At first sight I am a feroscious Gaul or Viking to those I encounter. On closer examination my character is wholly Germanic in having high standards.
For people that feel tainted or inferior, they are not excluded. Germanism is an ideal to aim for. One of my grandfathers was only 5ft 4" but his great grand children are 6ft 4". For those blessed with the purest Germanic blood it is something they must gaurd and expand.

This is one of my great grandmothers.

I think she looks like Sitting Bull but I doubt there is Red Indian in my ancestry. Her look is most likely a very West european Solutrean type look. If present in Red Indians this look more likely originates in old Europe.
Just so any North Americans who have a similar ancestor don't suddenly think they are impure or tainted.

I agree with Jager, you do realize that light hair to the Romans would have been correct? Anything but black or as some like to call it really dark brown, seeing as how the rest of the world has dark hair(black) having brown hair is actually considered blonde. Go to Mexico and they'll be calling you a blond Gringo, but go to Sweden and your a brunette, globalize your perspective to realize what light is.

Not sure what the Scots are considered so I'll leave that one alone.

Apparently on the paternal there is rumor of French blood. And on the maternal, one of the branches are Germanized Slavs from Austria. I don't know when the last pure-blooded Frenchmen or Slav was in my ancestral tree. Could had been centuries as far as I am concerned.

I am largely German on both sides, but I also have Scottish and Irish on my Father's side and Greek and Irish on my mother's.

I've done a good bit of research, and have found no non-Germanic blood whatsoever.

Well I can exactly tell whether or not my English ancestry is full Anglo-Saxon, but my Dad has no Germanic ancestry that I know of. He might have some distant Germanic ancestry from the various groups that inhabited France and Spain though. Ethnically is probably mostly Celtic(from Celtiberians and Gauls) and Native Iberian such as Basque, with maybe a little Roman. My mom is full Germanic though like I said earlier I can't tell you for certain with the English ancestry. So yeah it is just about 50/50 for me. This is all assuming we aren't going to put Sub-Race into this, and we aren't talking strictly ethnic wise.

My ancestry had its differences. On my fathers side which is pure blooded finn. They were proud of finland and sweden. I did have a relative or two who was from Sweden. I noticed my dads side of the family weren't religiuos at all. They were from a farm and when I was a little kid and older teen we worked outdoors all the time. We cut fire wood year round and grew grains. I got to play ice hockey, so I was a decent ice skater. We had a sauna by the big pond. We would go to scandinavian summer soltices gatherings which was fun because I got to meet other kids my age who were norwegian, swedish or finnish. Even though we were Americans my grandparents were proud finns and I felt like I really lived there at times.
Now my mothers side was German and English and I experienced that side of my ancestry. My grandfather was a military history buff and would tell me stories about the British empires wars they were in. They fought against the fuzzy wuzzys and the dervishes in north africa, and of course the zulus. He was german and his favorite war hero was Manfred von Richthofen which he had a book from 1923 which I now have the copy. They were more religious than my dads side, and were the typical american anglo people. That is what I grew up with and got to experience the two bloodline differences which was a great experience for me.

The population of Sweden was 1.5 million in the early 18th century, so it was probably at the same or slightly lower figure in the 17th century. I don't know how many a few thousand is refering to, but I'll use 3,000. Sweden's population of 1,500,000/3,000 Walloons = 500. So approximately 1 out every 500 persons in Sweden at the time (17th century) was a Walloon. So if every ethnic Swede had at least 1024 ancestors alive at the time, it's not unreasonable to assume that at least a million Swedes would have a Walloon ancestor(s). But for most of those 1 million, the Walloon ancestry is insignificant.

The same mathematical logic could be used to show the likelihood of Finnish ancestry in Swedes.
But seeing that Walloons only married eachother for 150+ years (even in the late 19th century there were people with more walloon ancestry than Swedish present in Sweden) the numbers you presented are dead wrong, the real number lies between 60,000-100,000 people today.
