True quotations on the inferior sex

    http://www.thephora.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=68309

"The last western society to worship female powers was Minoan Crete. And significantly, that fell and did not rise again."

"Women are nothing but machines for producing children."
    - Napoleon Bonaparte

"Women have no existence and no essence; they are not, they are nothing. Mankind occurs as male or female, as something or nothing. Woman has no share in ontological reality, no relation to the thing-in-itself, which, in the deepest interpretation, is the absolute, is God."
    -Weininger

"Kill the imagination, lobotomize the brain, castrate and operate: then the sexes will be the same."

This may well happen through the quantity of artificial chemicals being pumped and leaked into the environment (from plastics, etc) that behave like female hormones. Men may yet be chemically castrated and lobotomized.

"If civilization had been left in female hands, we would still be living in grass huts."

"The male orientation of classical Athens was inseparable from its genius. Athens became great not despite but because of its misogyny."
    -Paglia

"Man is not originally an egotist; not until he is lucky enough to be united with a woman does he become that, and then completely. In contrast to a loose-jointed framework egotism, this union, commonly known as marriage, could be called a stone-wall egotism, egotism's proper enterprise."
    -Kierkegaard

This is probably true. Women are rarely innovators - they are very conventional, social, and conservative.

Hmm... maybe, I'm not sure. Of course the significance of a female priesthood, female Oracles (including at Dodona, Delphi, etc), female hetairai such as Aspasia --- anyway. I don't know the rest of Paglia's argument here.

I think this is wrong. I think women are the least egotistical of humans - they are social and communal by nature and upbringing (the experience of raising a child especially reinforces this). Egotism has allowed humans to progress and develop in some ways, but only because women are the "glue" that holds us Homo sapiens together.

Women have great EQ and social intelligence, but very, very few women are geniuses, compared to men. Yet it is old wisdom that the best works of genius are inspired by women.
"Whatever is done from love always occurs beyond good and evil." - F. Nietzsche
