If its a spider its probably not bothering me. I like the spiders in my house. If I lived in a country that had poisonous spiders I'd probably kill them though.

If a fly gets in I'll probably either squash it or coax it out the window depending how generous I am feeling, what I've been reading lately and what course of action is easier :p

A* Yes, like Nana. Does Nana have a prayer book?
    H* A big fat one.
A* And are there prayers in it for various occurrences in life? Against storms? Against illness?
H* Against temptation, against floods -
A* But not against progress, I suppose?
    H* > I think not.
    A* That’s a shame.

I move them outside or if a blood sucking creature I kill them although it brings me no joy.

When it comes to spiders I demand that someone comes and collects them for me and takes them outside. If worst comes to worst I get too scared and kill them. The problem with that is that I can't stand to get so close to them, so I get some foam bathroom cleaner and spray it on them from a distance. I feel quite mean though!

Our most dangerous spider here is the Black Widow, its venom powerful enough to kill a child and sometimes the occasional adult.
If I find one in the house I will dispose of it along with any egg sac.

We also have Wolf Spiders, which I allow to have free run of the house. They are not anywhere near as poisonous as the Widow and they rid the house of bothersome insects. They are called "Wolf" for a good reason, as they venture out to seek their prey, unlike most spiders who build webs and wait. I have actually seen them chase their intended victim.

    Mosquito's shall die!!!

Since we dont have dangerous spiders or insects, I am not afraid of them...

Sod that, we get the odd black widow over here but when that happens it's usually in the local newspaper because it was in a yucca plant or a bunch of bananas or something!

In my house, spiders are non-existent, especially if I'm there! These are the biggest ones I see around mine:

would it make me a scaredy cat if I screamed a little when I saw that picture?!

Black widows are not aggresive it seems. Media hysteria

I'm not afraid of spiders or insects, I keep a big tarantula in a terra. I wouldnt kill a spider or a bee or wasp, but try to get them outside. I only kill ticks and mosquites and something we call "klegg" which is a big flying insect that bites.

They don't willfully attack humans, but will often build their webs under a toilet seat!
My grandfather told me about a childhood friend of his that used one of those old outhouse toilets, and was bitten you-know-where.

The species of Latrodectus(Black widow) has many subspecies. and most of them can deliver nasty bites.
But if I lived in the US I would be more scared of the Loxosceles reclusa(brown recluse)
You dont want to get bitten in the groin area for sure
