Probably Communic - Waves of Visual Decay
    And it's been a while, but i didn't have much money. So I just couldn't buy cd's.

Oh wait just remembered, I bought a few cd's after Communic:

Skyclad - Wayward Sons of Mother Earth
    Hollenthon - Domus Mundi
    Dropkick Murphy's - The Warrior's Code

Godly album! All of the early Skyclad stuff is brilliant. Walkyier is a lyrical genius. If you haven't heard his old band, Sabbat, then buy/download their album "Dreamweaver - Reflections of our Yesterdays." The most monumental heathen/thrash album ever recorded.

I agree with ye Boss. I bought Skyclad - Folkemon by "accident", so to speak, and never regretted!

Yeah Walkyier is indeed great! I'm also very interested in his 'new' project: The Clan Destined. And I know Sabbat. Also very nice music!

    OK, I'm a name dropper....
In 1994-5 I shared a house with Martin's 'bit on the side' and got to know him very well. He's very witty, very intelligent, and his dad, if I remember correctly, was a POW in Colditz.
One night, the band I was in at the time spent the night drinking with him at home, and he sang on a 4-track version of one of my songs, which was an honour. I kept it, and have it now as an MP3 and CD!
When he split up with his 'mistress' in 1995 we lost touch gradually, but I texted him (getting his number off a mutual friend) about 18months ago, and he texted back enthusiastically, telling me to email him.
Unfortunately I wasn't on the internet at the time and lost the bit of paper I'd written on.
If you like, I can get it from the mutual friend, and email him a link to BuB.
I'm sure he would like it here...

Night Storm: Nice, great that you know him! And it would be nice to see him here on BuB, because as Evergreen said: He's a genious!

You do realize that you have to give me that mp3 now, don't you?

    With pleasure.
    However, picture the scene...
Nottingham. August/September 1993, about 2 in the morning after a drinking session. 4 people in an attic room with a 4-track recorder and various cheap instruments (Me, my then guitarist, Martin and his ladyfriend (the guitarist's sister).
The song was called '..and another Bloody Ascension', one of my songs which Skyclad really took to (and actually played on their P.A. before their Ireland gigs in 1992 (possibly early 1993)).
They were going to cover it, but in the end just kind of took inspiration from it to do an original Skyclad song (which he was open about, and I didn't mind at all). No, I can't remember which song.

The point is, it's about 4 minutes of drunken performance, followed by 6 minutes of drunken talking, but I have the only copy in existance and true fans of Martin might find it a novel rarity.
The file is just under 7Mb. So Evergreen, advise me of the best way of making it available and I'll upload it. I don't want to use my website, as it's political and it's not fair on Martin to have it there.
One condition. You place alongside it my band' s proper 16 track version of the song, to spare my drunken blushes.
Who knows, you may recognise which Skyclad song it inspired...eyes:
