I had longish hair when I was about 10-11 yers old and it was straight in form. Then I cutted my hair and keeped it quite short. When I started to grow it longer again at the age of sixteen, it suddenly started to curl.

Hormones (Testosterone) darkens the hair, that's why mainly men get darker during puberty, and women are on average lighter than men, technically, the hair color during your childhoood is more "important", there are many Nordids who have brown hair, yet if one didn't have had light hair during childhood it is very unlikely (impossible?) to be fully Nordid.

As a child my hair went from straight, fine and light blonde (6 yrs.) and darkened to light brown (8 yrs.). Now it's medium brown, curls on the ends, and coarse (21 yrs.) From this, I would conclude that adolescence would show you the genetic color. But maybe I don't fully understand what you mean by genetic color. Ah, whatever..

    Hello.

My granddad had bright blond hair when he was 8-9 years old (seen photos), but when he growed up he turned so jet-black that almost blue... Then, when the time passed finally gray.

Adulthood, which I consider to be at the point when a person reaches sexual maturity - because only adults breed...

And also, I don't think there's anyone whose hair doesnt get at least one shade darker by the time they are mature. The blonder a person is the more noticable the darkening will be.
