I find her attractive too, although her hair colour is a bit too much on the dark side.
Triangular shaped head, high cheek bones, long narrow nose, pointy chin. Yes.

I like their phenotype in general, but I don't find either of them particulary attractive. Sorry

Sissel might share a pigmentation with what is common for a North Atlantid but her nasal shape and great face width tell another story. Did you look at all the pictures of her? There is no reason for North Atlantids to be present in Norway. There are North Atlandid people in Iceland, or such an element, at least as for the pigmentation, but in that case through Irishmen and not Norwegians. Dark Norwegians are often brachycephalic. There is in fact, in Norway, a strong correlation between blondism and dolichocephalism.

    More Sissel: http://www.sissel-online.dk/

North Atlantid got a basically Nordid skull shape, with much darker hair, but her head is totally round and Alpinised. That is probably why AWAR made the comment about Bulgarians, although any resemblance is a coincidence, those are more Turanoid. She is not as atypical for Norwegians as some may think. I know some Norwegians who are of the same type.

Well, I hadn't looked at her website until just now. It's interesting to note that older pics, from the early 90s, she does appear more rounded (see pic below) whereas more recent pics, to me anyway, she looks longer in facial length. In none of the pics can I reckon CI very well other than to estimate that she is mesocephalic. Perhaps I'm wrong though.

Maybe she had plastic surgery or maybe it is a function of the again process which can change people's facial features to some extent...

No North Atlantids in Norway? I guess I'm sort of surprised to hear that...I would have thought some made it that far.

I have never read any anthropologist who mention North Atlantids in Norway nor have I ever seen a Norwegian who got features that correspond with the description of that type.

Maybe McCulloch made you think that there are North Atlantids there.

No, it was just my own thinking. I've never thought that there were many of this type there....just that I didn't think it to be beyond the 'realm of possibility', lol.

    I'll trust your judgement, Volks.

Everything is of course possible. As I said, I have not read anything about it nor have I seen any such Norwegians. Please give some examples if you happen to find any.

I guess that some would assume that as Norway is an extension northwards of the Atlantic maritime region. Norway got types that are not found in Sweden, but they are mainly Tydal (which is also found in Sweden, but often with Trönder) or Strandid.
