Lightbulb Three Generations of an Icelandic Family

For those of you liberated from any delusions or distortions of just who Icelanders are I impart the following 3 tiered family tree: http://www.ismennt.is/not/sthra/fjolskyldan-2.htm .

    Gott kvöld,

Excellent. A fine example of phenotypes through three generations.

Starting with the grandparents--from left to right:

    1. Ladoganish UP
    2. Borreby

    3. Nordid-Bruenn--near Anglo-Saxon or Tronder type
    4. Borreby/Coastal Alpinid with some Uralic/Lappanoid visible in interorbital distance.
    Eye angle is Caucasoid.

    5. Broader UP type--Borreby or nearly so.
    6. Nordid

kids can be hard but I'll give it a whirl...

    7. At this young age--generalized Nordid + UP
    8. Same as above though more evident as she is older
    9. Borreby
    10. Nordid--Tronder type, I think.

This is great. Notice how each is named, in English, as the son or daughter of their father. This is the old European way. We must see that these people remain unspoiled by unwanted foreign immigration.

I have gotten from Islendingabok (the book of Icelanders) all of my inbred family dating back to the year 1560 it includes their birthplace, some birthdates and occupations it ends with my grandmother and grandfather.

Decode has done great work with the "inbred" people of Iceland in discovering genes for diseases that enable new drugs to be made .
    It is quite interesting
Iceland has a great amount of talented folk for such a small place too.
Bjork-ok she is weird but, talented
Haldor Laxness -winner of 1954 noble peace prize for Literature
Helgi Tomasson-creative director for the San Fransisco ballet
and other's in the film industry that are making names for themselves.

anyway just a few little notes

Once you have made an Icelandic friend it is for life.

Iceland is fascinating, racially and culturally. It's been so isolated for so long that it gives us a glimpse of what we might have become had we not been mongrelized. I can't wait to visit.

Hey, I love Bjork!!! She is extremely creative, and I believe a very good entertainer.
Curious, though....when you speak of the inbred; do you know the predominant blood types, and if there is a higher than normal hemophilia?
And do you know if the Faroe Islanders are close relatives?
