    Inguz / Renault

'' The twenty-second rune sign is Inguz. This translates as "love" and it symbolizes completeness, destiny, love, wishes, concessions, willingness, creative forces and fertility and is linked to Freyr ("love"). This rune sign is a picture of the spouses of the Jēra rune sign united (in the act of making love). ''

This Rune is not merely linked to the God, it is one of his bynames. The Anglo-Saxon Rune Poem affirms this:

"Ing was first amidst the East Danes
so seen, until he went eastward
over the sea. His wagon ran after.
Thus the Heardings named that hero."

With Ing being the AS cognate of the ON 'Yngvi.' Incidentally the title Freyr has nothing to do with 'love.' It is merely th ON word for 'lord,' just as Freyja is a tile meaning 'lady.'
"Ocean is more ancient than the mountains, and freighted with the memories and the dreams of Time."

Also implying withdrawal for personal regeneration (gestation) and self-replenishment. Also male mysteries and preparation for "fatherhood" (not necessarily of a child). Making ready for advancement on some level. Assumption of greater responsibility. Planting the seed in readiness for "rebirth," on some level. Gathering resources for the coming "birth."

This rune reminds me of an imminent positive transition. Very hopeful.
