I guess Central (Mittel-/middle) Sinid type. Probably with slight Tungid admixture, but his cheeks could be in the range of the Central (Mittel-) Sinid type too.
BTW, interesting personality.
Chiang Kai Shek is one of the better examples of the morphological progressivity of certain Sinid variants.

The difference is just that the Nordsinid is the most narrow and progressive variant and that then from the Mittel/Central- to the Sued/South-Sinid type the face is broader, the subcutan fat stronger and the paedomorphic tendencies are more marked.
They are also not as tall and more brachycephalic than the Nordsinids which can be often mesocephalic, leptorrhine and leptoprosopic. (Long head and narrow face/nose.
Their skin is also lighter and their cheekbones not so strong in the Nordsinid type.
Prognathy is also seldon and just Alveolarprognathy occurs especially in more Leptosomic individuals.
They are strong in the Northern provinces and my impression is that you can almost say they are in the same regions dominant in which not rice but other grains dominant.
The Yantzekiang delta is a region in which the Sinid type is very strong.
The South Sinid type is just a form already going in a Palaemongolid direction, and the Central Sinids are in between with the above said features not so marked expressed.
