Post Jan van Helsing - Books on Conspiracy?

Have any of you read Jan van Helsing's "Geheimgesellschaften und Ihre Macht im 20. Jahrhundret" or in English: "Secret Societies and Their Power in the 20th Century" ? This book started a whole series of books by van Helsing which, eventually, became banned in German lands but also became underground best sellers. If so, what do you think?

Basically I think that guy (Jan Udo Holey) is just plain nuts. In the end it is simply a question of what you believe as Holey did not provide any sources or evidence to back his claims.

Apart from that there can only be only one van Helsing:

And all my youth passed by sad-hearted,
    the joy of Spring was never mine;
Autumn blows through me dread of parting,
and my heart dreams and longs to die.

    - Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850)

Real misanthropes are not found in solitude, but in the world; since it is experience of life, and not philosophy, which produces real hatred of mankind.

    - Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837)

This "van Helsing" is not the new movie. Phegethon is correct about his real name being Jan Udo Holey, an Austrian, but he "van Helsing" alias comes from the Dracula novel and is intended to convey the concept of putting a steak through the heart of evil.

His later books were less credible in my mind but his first book, Geheimgesellschaften, has 13 pages of footnotes, so I think we could say that he did cite sources. Also, he happens to live near and know at least one major source for his Flugscheiben evidence.

Van Helsing is at home in the FRG, he isn't an Austrian. The Books are more Fantasy than Fact.

You see that Van Helsing write only the same like other authors. There is more disinformation than information.

Anyone interested in this thread should see the German section where van Helsing has come up again.

He still is irrelevant as a source of information though - unless you are a UFO nut.

Maybe did you ever think that the reason why he doesn't provide any source of evidence to back his claims because it itsn't a matter of believing but matter of feeling...and because alot of what he writes is truth (if you can feel) so lets see what people are and have been for a very long time been trying to distroy our knowlegde and history - Jahewh and the Zionist. So lets say he stated all the evidence, that is a easy ticket for them to go and distroy/corrupt more of our truth...and when the more of the true come together many of them using "secretive" ways of finding each other the stronger our blood and energy will be come; by writers as himself, where they write not direct answers, so the peolep of the truth with read and FEEL and then the more come together...

Well, I have a nibble. OK Phlegethon, look at all those UFO pictures in his book. The UFO world sends pictures for analysis all the time and the UFO world simply hates the idea of German Flugscheiben. So why, Phlegethon, has not one picture in that book ever been shown to be a forgery? You are a German, email Michael Hessemann (Magazin 2000) and ask him---ask him why his organization has not done so.

I am not a big fan of his source, Norbert-Juergen Ratthofer, but they have presented real documentation as real and nobody, nobody, has proven it false after 15 years.

As for the conspiracy text, as Jadi says, most of it not only feels right but is right from all we know. Van Helsing's mistake was including Zionism on the same level as the KKK which got him into trouble. He would not be banned in Germany and Austria if it were not for this naming Jews as common criminals.

There is a book called 'The Baron Vampire', by Guy de Charnacé. It's a French 19th Century anti-Semitic novel. Very hard to find, can't put my hands on it.
