Post Former Mexican Consul Arrested on Smuggling Charges

President Bush at this time is pushing for what amounts to an amnesty for 8-12 million (you see, they don't know the exact number) illegal aliens, this on top of prior amnesties from the past two decades. Bush explains that *cough, gag* these folks do jobs no one else will do.

While the American Federal government has been *cough,*seizure* protecting the borders, it seems the former Mexican consul to Lebanon has been attempting to help smuggle Arabs from the Mideast thru Mexico. She was arrested a few months back as this story tells us.

Not known to many Americans, but not all those Mexicans pouring across are Mexican, or even South American; groups of Chinese and Middle Easterners have been coming over from south of the border as well.

Illegal alien's diary found in Texas with Arabic writing.

Turman found a copy of The Graduate, and thought highly enough of the story that he made a movie he considered to be 90-percent faithful to the book.

But Turman and director Mike Nichols made one key adaptation, changing the Braddocks from WASP-y blonde characters into a dark-haired, more ethnic-looking family.

There is nothing more permanent than a temporary worker.
    The Phora

"There are no principles; there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior man espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them. If there were principles and fixed laws, nations would not change them as we change our shirts and a man can not be expected to be wiser than an entire nation."

The Japanese wisely figured that out; they realize economic growth at the expense of their culture and people is not worth it. Where did this nonsense of perpetual economic growth being desireable come from.

A person too by stuffing their face can grow indefinately to a thousand pounds or more in weight ...is it desireable?
