I am very saddened to know that you have lost a person so dear to you, Blood Axis... I can only say that I truly understand, from the depths of my soul, what it feels like to suffer the death of someone who was kindred in sprit; both a lover and friend. In knowing your tragic situation so familiarly, I also know what horror and grief has befallen you, and I can't put into words how terribly sorry I am for your misfortune. I know that 'sorries' aren't enough to fill that deep and endless void that is left when someone so close and completing is taken away, but just know that, in time, the hurt and sting become less biting, and the immediate emptiness begins to fill up with memories of all the happy and precious moments that you both once shared... memories will never replace the vitality and warmth of a living being, but, in a way, they stand to preserve one's beloved in an eternal light of beauty and grace - perpetually unblemished.

In this grievous time, I wish you moments of tranquility and reflection, and a deep sense of serenity, when you look back upon the time you shared with your friend, and that through you, and all whom he touched in his life, his legacy will continue on - joyous and blazingly bright. It is most obvious, from the way you spoke of him, that he felt as loved and appreciated as anyone could have, with a friend like you... and was very fortunate to have met someone so considerate and supportive of his special individuality, as you have been. Just as he has touched your life, there's no doubt that you have done the same to his... and what greater gift is there, than to positively impact the life of another human being?

Again, my deepest condolences to you in your hour of grief and loss, Blood Axis... please take care, and stay strong, as he would have wanted you to.

He certainly embodied the nobility of the ancient Greeks, as do you.

The good ones leave us too early.

Words cannot fully express my feelings.

Hello, I understand your feelings, because some years ago I had same situation. It was to me gratest help to know, that he is now in heaven. I felt all empty, and donated his clothes and all his, to salvation army. Therafter I used all days and nights web, and sleeped and sleeped.
after one year I met my second husband, now we live happy life. When I was alone, friends helped me visiting me.

There isn't much that I can say that hasn't been said already.

The bizarre condition called life is so fragile, so ethereal it seems almost imaginary.

And as always it is the best ones who are the first to go.

The world belongs to the dead. Their legacy is all around us, and every moment of the rest of our brief, silly, comical lives, you can take comfort in that no-one will ever be able to tarnish your friend's memory now.

I am very sorry for your loss, and truly hope he passed without pain and in peace. In times like this, I try to believe that no man is truly happy until he dies.

Do not be sad, wherever he is, he is in a better place.

Blood Axis, my friend... I was sorry to read your story, which is undoubtedly the saddest post ever written on tNP. I know your friend was a terrible loss - perhaps more to Greece than to you. I know you understand, what I mean. Useless people always die too late, and the best and most valuable always die too early.

But it somehow feels awkward for me to cry over the death of a great person, especially if I have known him in person. It feels more natural for me to joyfully celebrate his memory and to honour his deeds, proud of being allowed to know him.

Instead, cry over the useless bastards who are still alive and who contributes with less than nothing. They can never be compared to your gifted friend.

Ive just read this and I´m so sorry for your lose! :frown: Reading your text nearly made my eyes wet.
But he is for sure in a better place now, among other good people and beloved ones. And he met you in your dream!

Bodies may die, but memories live forever. Save them deep in your heart, so he will always be next to you.

I wish you all the Best, Blood Axis!
