Read the quite detailed physical description about the Eskimo and Indian.

Post Re: The Anatomical Characters of the American Indian

"The Indian, in many of his anatomical characters, stands between the white and the negro. His skin is of various shades of brown, tinged in youth, particularly in the cheeks, with the red of the circulating blood. The term "red Indian" is a misnomer. Very dark individuals of a hue approaching chocolate or even the color of some negroes are found in more primitive tribes, especially in the south and among the old men, who often went nearly naked."

It's interesting how skin pigmentation often relates to the advancement (technological?) in different races or sub-races (don't get me wrong, I mean this very loosely). The "trend" is similar on an entirely different continent. o_o

People always stereotype American Indians they are diverse
the reason why American Indians are diverse is because of pre-columbian Migrations and people in america not just migrated from beringia

makes sense, as the iroquois (atlantic northeast) tend to be the more progressive of indian tribes, at least in history anways. they were the first to form a unified government that still maintained democratic traditions and were few of the only tribes who were able to mount an effective resistance against europeans for quite some time

The Northern American Indians have later-more modern Mongoloid and stronger Europoid influence than many other Indians.

The North American Indians are quite progressive, Silvids are in my opinion one of the more progressive subraces of the world (roughly woodland Indians/NE of USA) and not comparable with Brasilids or Fuegids of the South which are quite primitive.

Unfortunately, they were wiped out with a few survivors scattered to the north (in Canada) and in reservations in the West - and as minor admixture in Scots-Irish "Rednecks."

The American Indians I've meet were Lakota or Sioux, their skin color is red the same color as the stone of their peace pipes. This is the skin tone they value most, when combined with long straight black hair that shows a purple like tone in the sunlight. They are a tall people over 6 feet tall and very intelligent. Like us they are a proud people and look after the purity of their race.
