Yes, I would like to know more about your paranormal experience in more detail as well, Astragoth.

In the meantime, my paranormal experience involved a poltergeist event:

Here it is. A rather brief but honest account of what transpired while Lilly was at work and I was in the process of relocating several truckloads of our personal possessions from our previous residence to our present one.

Being very orderly and well-organized, I had discarded much of what we no longer needed from our possessions that had accumulated during most of our first fifteen years together at the place we used to call home. There was no sensible reason to move these unwanted items to the much nicer piece of real estate we purchased. Everything I did move to our present location was done so room by room in clearly marked boxes to prevent unnecessary confusion.

While furnishing our new living room and stocking smaller items taken from boxes marked, living room, I initially decided to decorate the built-in bookcase shelves on each end of our fireplace that has a large, ornate mirror adorning the chimney above the hearth. Placing one of our decorative oil lamps on top of the bookcase at the east-side of the rectangular shaped room, I continued unloading boxes at the west side of the room when a loud popping sound, accompanied by the sound of breaking glass startled me from my thoughts.

I tracked the disturbing sound I'd just heard to the top shelf of the bookcase where I had just carefully placed the oil lamp where it had no chance of falling off by itself. The glass chimney that had been carefully secured in place atop the lamp base, that was still intact, was lying about in shards to a distance of six-feet on the carpeted floor. As far as I could discern from that day forward, there was no apparent reason for the sudden self-destruction of the undisturbed lamp chimney.

That is, of course, until I described the mysterious event to an elderly neighbor gentleman, who informed me that the previous owner of our property lost his second wife (A young professional model.) to cancer in that area of our house I still use for a computer room. He was by her side when she took her last breath on a couch by the bay window box.

I do know that for about three months after this strange occurrence, our felines would avoid this area of our home, and would nervously run through it on their way to other parts of the house. Also, especially at night, I would become suddenly anxious at times while using my PC with my back to this same area of the room. This feeling of distress gradually disappeared with time.

I can only surmise the exploding lamp chimney, and the uncomfortable sensations we experienced were somehow related to the unnatural death that occurred within this particular area of the house.

Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

They are all around us. They occupy the same 'space' but operate on a higher vibratory level as do the Gods who have the ability to transform into men by lowering their vibrational frequency. This is how Woden was able to adopt the guise of the Wanderer.
My mother predicted her own death. She saw her gravestone in a dream and told my wife of the time that she would be gone by the next time we visited her which was every Sunday. She died a couple of days later. A strange date as well-6th July 1989-6/7/89.
My brother also predicted his death 10 days beforehand so I will probably get a warning too before the Grim Reaper comes for me.

Ok, I am not someone who would knock the beliefs of others on a personal basis but it struck me as strange as you said that you are a Lutheran. Would it not be better to describe yourself as an atheist?

The store I work at was apparently haunted. There was/are two of them. One in the basement. One in the kitchen. I work nights and at 1 am or so as i'm in the basement I hear a bang like something being thrown into the wall across from me.
The thought running through my head was "really?"and irritation.
The second would scratch at the back door. Tck, Tck, Tck like a woman picking at it with a nail. The one night she kept throwing the phone off the hook and after the third time she knocked over my coffee. I'd had enough and prayed for them to be sent on their way. About six months pass. I hear something hiss something in my hear from about six inches and from behind and a very loud bang on the back door. I pray again and I haven't had anything happen since. I was never really afraid, just annoyed and I think that pissed them off even worse.

I created a thread split for the discussion about Finnish Swede's religion. This is a thread about the belief in ghosts and ghost sightings. It should be only about that. Schwab and W.K., we are not on Facebook here. I don't know which social media you guys are familiar with, but on an old school forum like Skadi one sticks to the topic at hand, the one mentioned in a thread's title and in the first post of the thread. There are hundreds of existing threads where you can discuss the police state and religion - and where you can do your thing and go into a debate with others about their religion. We all have pet peeves, I understand. But if you're curious about other people's religion or feel a need to argue about their or your own religious position, do it in the appropriate threads or start a new thread yourself.

When you see content you disagree with but that information is totally irrelevant for a thread, something that triggers or baits you into responding, you need to let it go. It's a basic kind of forum discipline, courtesy and etiquette, gentlemen.

Have you done anything at all to rectify the experience? Often when people pass on they can be confused, angry etc. My late mother who died 29 years ago was a spiritualist medium who used to leave her body on a night time to help departed spirits towards the light.
