She was great wasn't she? Beautiful face with a great womanly figure.

A Negro and a Jew save the world. They are really stretching the limits of the imagination, even for science fiction.

    To live is to fight.

To die is to give up.

Adams had that classic dry British wit, very entertaining.

You should watch the original movie. The new one is a shoddy multiracial remake.

    Absolute classic!

If someone hasn't seen Flash Gordon, do yourself a favor and see it!

If they remade it now it would have that quadroon Vin Diesel as Flash and some Hispanic mongrel as the female.

If you listen to the commentary about the movie (with the DVD version), they explain just how politically correct they tried to make it. They were surprised at how "traditional and backwards" audiences were, even females, because they booed the strong feminist character of Carmen Ibanez, who acts more like a man, putting her career first and not being faithful. What they fail to realize is that having a bad moral character is universal, whether it's a male or female. Actually I thought Johnny Rico was a fool for ignoring Dizzy all that time. Some people want what they can't have.

Regardless of the political motives of the film, the special effects, dialogue, and action are excellent.

No one mentioned Species! Natasha Henstridge as a sex-starved alien whose sole purpose is to mate! Come on. Seriously.

The thinking man's Sci-fi flic, although those with weak minds like mine need a few viewings to really appreciate it.

And there are tons of "space" references, and of course the Replicants who were the focus of the plot came from space back to Earth illegally.
