Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina is hurling headlong directly for New Orleans, expected to make landfall as a catagory four. Because of this, I may be evacuating to Houston (I have family there) tonight or tomorrow morning. This of course means that I won;t be around, if we shouldhave to leave. So please take care of the forum for me, if I go!

I hope the hurricane will ebb away in a whisper without leaving a muddle and casualties behind.

And with a wolf pack of female staff members overseeing the Forum, nose-diving with snarling mouths and manicured talons at every nitwit, faring badly for any moment of trashy behaviour, BuB couldn't be in better hands.

Well, it's now almost 11pm US Central time. We got a call to be evacuated by noon tomorrow. We are caravaning with my in-laws, and I suspect our departure time will be around 3 to 4 am. Yay. :thumbsdow :runaway

I'm looking at the ashore-coming of hurricane Katrina with interest. An extremely powerful category 5 storm, it is expected to make landfall near New Orleans within the next day.
