I feel your pain DW. Although for me its an occupational hazard. Bored, drunk, loud, obnoxious, middle-aged housewives (who always move in packs) are the worst kind of customer

Yes, but bored, drunk, loud, obnoxious, younger women can be just as annoying:

Herbert Hoover

In general, vegetarians are less likely to develop certain diseases such as kidney stones, osteoporosis, diabetes, obesity, gallstones, heart disease and some sorts of cancer such as breast and colon cancer, they add.
Dude! How can you not like barbeque! :costumed-

Hmm... let's see. Live an unhappy vegetarian life, or die 5 years earlier having lived a full and happy life eating meat. Which would you take? Do I really care about those last 5 years when I'm old and crippled?

There are many more problems with diet besides eating meat. There is the huge sugar consumption by most Americans, which contributes to all of the health problems above. I've seen plenty of fat vegetarians, because they still consume a lot of sugar, which creates more insulin, which causes your body to store fat.

Eating meat in proportion is the issue. Just have a sensible diet and you'll be fine.

I once ate sausage made of horseflesh but it tastes yucky.

Eating horse is forbidden to Jews and once also was forbidden to Catholics by Pope Gregor III in 732AD, because it was part of heathenish rituals. :book2:

I've enjoyed meat all my life...yet the situation..of 'living' animal to slaughterhouse, disturbs me. I only buy free ranch chickens & eggs..yeah BIG Deal!! (on my part ..)....

Fresh vegetables (when especially grown from my garden) excites my tastebuds. Our bodies essentially crave the vitamins of greens but we need that hit of meat for iron strength and feeling of immense well being...(a perfectly cooked steak...lamb cutlet, veal, pork:icon_mrgr )

There are so many herbs & vegies that we should be eating to protect the body from cancer & keep our vital organs in good working order...but we are either ignorant, lazy or just don't care.:

Balance is the key....today's fast food evolution is hopefully just a phase..0000: ...People need to wake up & stop being so damn lazy...Get in the kitchen & cook! The glorious meals one can make!8:

    Proud cook..
