Hes showing the typical traits of the early human narrowhish variants.

I saw this skull in reality (a copy in a museum) too, and I saw the Neandertalid skull...the difference is just huge in every regard.

And I saw skulls of all human races, and I can say, none of this races shown any realy Neandertal traits, they were much different but the difference was never to some extent so big as to the Homo neandertalensis.

Combe Capelle is definately modern, and perhaps the archaic features like the receding chin and marked browridges can be explained other than by hybridisation. But the relative lack of robustness in later Europeans when they are compared to Neanderthals cannot rule out Neanderthal admixture on its own.

There may be other well known specimens that show some possible admixture. These include Predmost and Vindija.

The difference between Predmost/Bruenn f.e. and the Combe Capelle skull ist just the robustness but the general morphology was the same without any clear signs of Neandertaloid admixture.

Robustness alone is no argument for Neandertalid admixture...

Dinarids and Armenids looking sometimes Neandertaloid because of the hormonal levels (think about Akromegalie again) but there is no similarity in the concrete morphological featues.
Again, superficial similarities at the first look are no proof, its not even enough for a scientific speculation, in detail there is nothing which would go in this direction.

The Neandertals were expert hunters, and don't get me wrong, but we took over their land. We all have African blood, but more recent than previously thought. I read somewhere that the Neandertals were a species of Homo erectus that left Africa about 300k-250kbp, and modern humans (cro-magnons) was left to develop in East Africa.
