You look like you came from a time machine from the year 1162, and your name must be Tor-gunnar Styrbjörnsson, or something like that?

    Definitely Anglo-Saxon/Old-Germanic.

I count thee of kindred blood, lol! :costumed- 'Anglo-Saxon-Tronder' was also the classification I got here a while ago,not too surprising to me given my preponderance of English ancestry. Yup, dress up a little, Surt, and you could very likely look the part of a thane or husscarl in the olden days. I got lucky,my woman never seemed to mind my beard! :icon12:

For an insight into the mind of my Father for an answer to that one you'd have to get out your ouija board and try to summon the dead. If you tempt his shade with some Leffe Blonde beer, I am sure he'll respond pretty quickly  From what I gather, his Father (My grandfather) was scandinavian (who was dead before I was born, never got to meet him) or there was something going on there like that, so he named my brother and I because of that. I have yet to do a geneology, but I have always planned to trace my family back to discover all the characters...

It is next to non existent here. Everyone mistakes it as "Andrew" or "Angus" and mispells it, which becomes annoying. I'd rather have been given an old English name like "Hrothgar" or "Wulfhere" something. Oh well.

Ignore the fact I'm desperately sleep deprived, bedraggled and rather ill looking in the photos (you try looking spritely after spending 10 hours in a tiny boat 3 kms offshore in the cold catching no fish)

So, Anglo-Saxon? or Keltic-Nordic? (or Guanche?)

5'11 and approximately 90 kg's blah blah blah

Interesting. I bet he was Swedish. And don't speak like that, "Anders" is a beautiful, manly name. English names, whatever the age of them, are nothing in comparison!
