I sing and I write. I also do cross-stitch now and again.
    That's about it, really :p

Yes,this very morning i created this food sculpture.

I took two clay baked discs and placed upon the smaller one three slices of blanched wheat...grilled in the oven until blanched a light brown and coated them with the creamy yellow fat of butter.

On the bigger plate i made a compostition of hogs hide with a couple of mystery bags,to add colour i made some haricot beans in sauce and added a few fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of fungus fired gently.
Not to forget the two eggs of the red junglefowl...runny.

To add to this i filled a cylider of potash and sand cooked in an oven with the juice of an orange.

I then throwing caution to the wind proceeded to eat the said food sculpture whilst reading a book.

    Creative? Yes, in several ways.........

I have been a Singer/musician, guitarist and bassist, for many years, as a solo, and in groups. I've done a lot of Folk singing, Blue-grass and Country music and Cowboy songs. Tune styling is a part of it.
I do a littlle wood-carving, making little things for my Grandchildren, little animals, hounds, rabbits. And, they especially like my carved Santas. I can carve a nice Santa with long beard wrapped around those thick red pencils the youngsters use. They're good little X-mas gifts.
I love Creative cooking and Brewing to share with Family & dear Friends.

Oh, And, I'm a pretty good Ritualist, which is a combination of Spirituality and theatre, performed to Serve the Northern Gods. I do the regular Cycle of Yearly Blots/Ceremonies, for a little group. Ive written several of them.

I have and I love it.

    Working on new shoes

One side of the shoe is of course larger because you have your big toe there.

The leather is really fine from cow and calf. The course holder (Englishman named Alban) has some cheaper leather made of goat, but it streches more and is softer.

Based on a find from Hedeby

I love to take raw wood, +/- 75 mm cuts, through the length of a log, take off the bark and make a, what my friends call, a Fred Flintstone style of table. The legs are “stumps from the same tree. Nothing is straight and I use only raw linseed oil to finish it off. The “chairs” are the same. No 2 tables are the same and the wood just talk to you. A good place to talk to your mates at a BBQ with your elbows on the table. You can solve any problem in good company.

Unlike Tommy, I’m a horrible cook. My food looks like a drunk Picasso Salvadore Dali combination creation and that’s my best. It tastes ok with lots of global warming unhealthy sauces as long as you don’t have to look at it for a long time. I hate TV, but I tolerate it during my meals.

I post on this forum! I see it as a creative outlet.
I write more vulgar and offensive Combichrist-style blog entries.
and I'm slowly writing a novel.

I'm limited financially so I don't really have any other outlets.

I guess you could say socializing is an form of art... gardening... even your own life can be seen as art if you play it right.

I design and make Tomahawks. We closed our company up for the year due to a move and will be reopening soon. I also fabricate with metals, do leather work, work on engines, and sew (nylon and regular fabrics). I enjoy building with wood and remodeling houses. I do just about anything and everything.
