    German Burschenschaften: Some of Germany's Future Leaders

    Here is a link to a site on the German Burschenschaften, or conservative student fraternities. The text indicates that these fraternities foster racial pride, which is a rarity among institutions in modern Germany:

    The problem is that most of what will become Germany's future leaders has rather a tendency towards this direction:

    Germanic Student Fraternities-Burschenschaften

    It would be very interesting I think to hear from members of Burschenschaften(student fraternities) their history, traditions, Mensur (academic sword fighting) etc.
    I know some stuff from my time as Erasmus-student in Leoben, Austria but would like to hear it from Burschen themselves.
