I don't have any personal favorites for novels. Personally, I can't stand reading novels. I prefer watching the film adoptations, and yes I know they twist elements of the plots in those movies(especially if made in USA). I read non-fiction books.

My Rise and Fall written by Benito Mussolini and British Ambassador to Italy Richard Lamb. Almost equivalent to Mein Kampf. Mussolini never finished writing the book. The ambassador took over the other half. Very interesting book.

    Favourite novels?

Er... Notes from the Underground - Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Fight Club - Chuck Palahnuik.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

Yes, I am a big SF nerd. 8-)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4)
