Since my childhood dream of studying law seems to have gone down the drain, I now turn to psychology and anthropology (although only as bedtime reading). The best way to learn is through genuine interest.

Psychology and our gods are two totally different things imo, and I do support your idea of a psychology forum. I know id enjoy some reading in there :

Religion is a psychological phenomenon. Anyway, I'm a Cosmotheist and don't really believe in gods. It is up to the white race to move itself towards godhood.

I was just reading over the list again. I see a connection between lacking identity and withdrawing into isolation. Part of our identity is racialist in nature. But it has become a taboo to talk about. And many people fear being called racist -- yet it is so much a part of us. It is who we are fundamentally. So we are losing touch with part of our identity. And in doing so, our society begins to fall apart. We become lost individuals without an identity rather than a cohesive community.

Stage 5: Adolescence -- Age 12 to 18

Crisis: Identity vs. Role Confusion
Description: This is the time when we ask the question "Who am I?" To successfully answer this question, Erikson suggests, the adolescent must integrate the healthy resolution of all earlier conflicts. Did we develop the basic sense of trust? Do we have a strong sense of independence, competence, and feel in control of our lives? Adolescents who have successfully dealt with earlier conflicts are ready for the "Identity Crisis", which is considered by Erikson as the single most significant conflict a person must face.
Positive outcome: If the adolescent solves this conflict successfully, he will come out of this stage with a strong identity, and ready to plan for the future.
Negative outcome: If not, the adolescent will sink into confusion, unable to make decisions and choices, especially about vocation, sexual orientation, and his role in life in general.


Stage 6: Young Adulthood -- Age 19 to 40

Crisis: Intimacy vs. Isolation
Description: In this stage, the most important events are love relationships. No matter how successful you are with your work, said Erikson, you are not developmentally complete until you are capable of intimacy. An individual who has not developed a sense of identity usually will fear a committed relationship and may retreat into isolation.
Positive outcome: Adult individuals can form close relationships and share with others if they have achieved a sense of identity.
Negative outcome: If not, they will fear commitment, feel isolated and unable to depend on anybody in the world.

So you mix threads in a religion forum, religion being the belief in a higher power and gods with psychology threads, which usually dismisses any spiritual higher power what so ever and lends all its ideals to basical human mind and thinking. Honestly I dont see how the two are conncted it all, I would have thought the lounge to be a better place (im not being a dick here man, dont get me wrong on this one) I think a psychology forum would be great, then you could give me and my girlfriend councilling if we ever need it
