I saw this pic at another board and I thought that she looked like a typical Balt.
What do you think?

I wouldn't say 'typical' but yes, clearly Baltid possibly even Faelish(Nordid+Borreby).
Certainly some sort of northern UP.

Seven pictures of northern European males and seven pictures of northern African males were presented randomly via a computer screen to 82 Italian female undergraduates of the University of Padua, Italy.
Each picture depicted a full frontal face with a neutral facial expression. Participants were asked to classify each picture as either northern Italian or southern Italian.
On average, the seven pictures depicting northern Europeans were classified as northern Italians 81% of the time. The seven pictures depicting northern Africans were classified as southern Italians 83%
of the time.
Ukrainische? Zis madchen ist freakin' awesome :-)
I believe there is a certain congruency between the way Ukrainian and Russian names sound/appear.Originally Posted by Gesta Bellica
For instance, Petrenko, Kirilenko and Borisenko are Russian names (patrinomial?), whereas Medvedenko and Schevchenko are Ukrainian.
All sound/appear relatively similar (i.e. '-enko').
This differs from Russian proper, in which Borisenko ("belongs to Boris") would become Borisov ("Boris's son")?
Or, perhaps, I simply do not know what I'm talking about.
Wend must know!
Is Pacheko also Ukranian? I knew a kid from Belize (dark) who I thought was Russian when I first heard his name, then I saw him...could such an ending have Greek ties, seeing has how Russia was Orthodox, perhaps it then traveled to Spain(Romanization etc), and then the Americas?? Or is he just descendant of Slavic settlers (my cousins are from Venezuela and they live in an Armenian/Polish community, with some Italians).
I think MEDVED in all forms, Medvedev, Medvedic, and Medvedenko is Jewish, as I have met all forms who were in fact Jewish. Can anyone confirm this? I know Jew's steel other nations names and culture and what not. I know some Germans who have last names that I thought were Jewish. Maybe its intermarriage?Originally Posted by The Blond Beast
Byelorussian, or Russian, maybe; but she's too fair to be Ukrainian.Originally Posted by The Blond Beast
Last names don't necessarily tell us anything about ethnic backgrounds.
In any case, her look is very Balt.
