This song, composed and sung by Jo Erens (1928-1955), first as "Zitterd Allein", later as "Limburg allein", written in Limburgian from Sittard, became "the" song of all Limburgians from both countries, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Quoted from: Het Belang van Limburg, April 12, 1996, Achterkrant, p. 39.

The maps on that Limburgish site are unfortunately all moved. Limburgish is, as far as I know, limited in Belgium and the Netherlands to that comparatively small edge which is in this map here south of the red ik/ich borderline, isn't it?
