Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Paul Cezanne, Edvard Munch... Impressionism, Modern Style, Art Deco, Futurism, Dada, Surrealism & more. I'm also very keen on almost everything avant-garde.

This is one of my favourite paintings, "The Beach at Sainte-Adresse" (oil on canvas, 1867) by Monet:

You got to be kidding. Van Gogh had a distorted perception of reality and Pollock's painting look like something a chimp would do.

Rembrandt showed talent. Look at the detail in his work. Even Renoir and Monet are pleasant to look at.

There's something Aryan about a linear style; I mean the sort of 'line' we see in Durer's woodcuts.
I also like a contemporary of his, called Urs Graf. He also did many woodcuts, mostly on a military theme.

I trace this linear style back to the Runes.

Each Rune is a pictogram, a venerable linear symbol.
In a row, these Runes look like a forest.

Scratch those Runes on your Blade, Brother!

Goya, Rossetti (and all the Pre-Raphaelites), Durer, Munch, Michelangelo, and Wenzel Hablik come to mind.
