Of course phenotype, photos etc., can "lie".Genotype never does. Also,we need to properly measure her to get a better result.
Being 'balck' in America means having some Negroid ancestry, no matter how small. In any case, I doubt this girl has any Negroid ancestry. I'd like more proof, like pictures of her parents.
Ooops!
I just read that Nicole Ritchie was adopted by singer Lionel Ritchie and his ex-wife.
Were her biological parents also Black? I don't know.
See:

I didn't know she was adopted till just now.
When I read she was Ritchie's daughter, I immediately "saw" some black in her. I figured she just had a white mother. Her face is rather low, and she has a wide nose and thick lips. Either way, I don't find her too attractive. Paris Hilton (on the right) is a jew though.
Edit: Norm MacDonald Kicks ass!
Both of her adoptive parents were Black.Originally Posted by Johnny Reb

We already had a discussion about her, in case anyone missed it -

To me she does look slightly Negroid. Recombination can lead to varying phenotypes. She probably has her hair chemically treated or wears fake hair (like Star Jones on The View, who loves to appear like she has "white" hair). She is similar to Jennifer Beals, who most people at first glance think is European white, even though she is significantly Negroid. Nicole resembles the racially mixed Caucasoid condition of Vin Diesel.
Since when do black couples need or want to adopt? LOL
In either case, she says she is black and doesn't mention being an adopted Italian or anything. LOL
(Go get'em Norm!)
During my interview, Norm Macdonald (starring on the upcoming Fox show A Minute with Stan Hooper) cruised up and (rather forcefully) asked Paris how much money her family makes. After Paris played along for a bit, he turned to Nicole.
Norm: "Isn't Lionel Richie a black guy?"
Paris: "She's black!"
Nicole: "I am black!"
Norm: "You're black?"
Noticeably annoyed, the girls returned to the interview and Paris answered what she missed most during the show. "My cell phone," she sighed. "Other than that, we could bring whatever we wanted. All we wore was high heels and short skirts. We dressed like Barbies the whole time. It was hot. I'm a live Barbie with no boobs."
Now, we're talking! But soon after, as Nicole went on and started lamenting the "dumb crappy bars" of Arkansas, Norm struck again.
Norm: "Did you get in any trouble because you're black?"
Nicole: "No! You're so rude."
Norm: "I thought hillbillies didn't care for black people."
Nicole: "They love me."
Paris: "They love her."
Norm: "Because you're not black!"
Nicole: "Yes, I am black."
Norm: "Is your mother black?"
Nicole: "Yes, she's black. Do you want to ask her if she's black? This woman's black [pointing to another partygoer], do you want to ask her?"
Just goes to show you that people aren't very sensitive to 1/4 or 1/8 or less partially black people. Half and quarter Asians are very acceptable to most white people as well (Keanu Reeves, Brandon Lee, Dean Kain, Russell Wong). This doesn't bode well for our future "white" populations.
