    Post Piercings: Evidence of Degeneracy?

in recent years more and more people have started getting body and facial piercings. originally a fashion native to india, many white youths now sport pierced nipples, noses, cheeks, tongues - and even clitorises. is it a positive step, though, or a retrograde and foul alien practise?

It's a fad and who cares? What others pierce is really none of my business. Many of them get over it and take them out when they grow up - I did.

    Yes.

    But tattoos are worse.

I refuse to go out with a woman who has tattoos and I don't care how small they are and where they are located, no ifs ands or buts.

I think you both overreact. Those are usually just phases that people grow out of.

Quite hard to grow out of tattoos though, Sig

Personally neither bothers me but I don't personally like facial piercings. I like tattoos on men but on women usually smaller, delicate tattoos look better, or none at all. All sorts of ear piercings are fine by me, I have 6 (or 7 depending on how you view an industrial) and I don't quite view myself as degenerate. I wouldn't question anyone elses right to any tattoo or piercing but I would be less attracted to a man with loads of facial piercings!

My own personal view is that it's un-Aryan, and an attempt to "show off" - saying "hey look at me, up yours!".

Strong people - those with an Aryan (i.e. noble) attitude - don't need such affectations. Aryans are discreet; and not given to ostentation.

People who adorn themselves in such a way are IMOBO trying to make up for what they lack inside - i.e. lack of a real, strong, noble, personal character.

I'd have to say that piercings are a symptom of the decay of authority-centered social order because piercing places emphasis on self expression over conformity.

Maybe the human need to belong is still there, only it's focused on conformity to a counter-culture. As a former hippie, I can vouch that my generation was never more conformist than in our rebellion. Personally, I just wanted a more natural lifestyle on a scale where I could see myself in my surroundings.

Counter-cultures will probably continue to multiply and diversify as a defense against the horrible cultural homogeneity that technological globalism is inflicting on us. So, in a post that started out panning piercings, I'll have to say instead, that piercing might just be the manifestation of a healthy instinct! How's that for a 180?
