    Your Political Evolution

Here you can share with us your political evolution. Have your opinions always stayed the course (be it left or right, conservative or liberal) or have they changed dramatically over the years? What, in your own opinion, made you embrace certain political views and opinions? Did certain events turn your attention to specific ideas and opinions? Or was there a particular individual/individuals who helped you on your way to political enlightenment?

If you feel like it you can here take us through your own personal political roller coaster and perhaps get a new perspective on it yourself.

I would say the last five years have been a bit of a roller coaster, and the ride isn't over yet

I won't go into detail on the subject, but I used to be very liberal- capitalist, then a ruthless social Darwinist , then an American nationalist and constitutionalist. I have given up hope in returning America into the white man's paradise that it once was. Ethnopluralism and capitalism have taken away the old Anglo-Germanic identity of the US and replaced it with nihilistic materialism. There is no hope for a nationalist revival in a country that has ceased to be a nation.
I plan to move to Europe, probably after college. The possibility of national awakening in Germany is present, actually I think it's inevitable. The Germans, of all the Germanic peoples, are the most indomitable. They have a national pride and sense of destiny so profound that they will not tolerate the status quo much longer. Nothing would be more fulfilling for me than to participate in such an awakening. This of course affects my world-view and political leanings. I now find myself leaning in the direction of National-socialism (in the broad sense).

Re: Share with us your own political evolution.

Haha. Ok, you asked for it...

I started off as a pro-British Australian conservative, when I was 12 years old I read into Rudolf Rocker's exposition on Anarcho-Syndicalism, I liked it, and didn't see many shortfalls in it, and I abandoned the Anglican (Episcopalian) Church a couple of years before, so at fourteen years old I read a copy of the Qu'ran a friend gave to me in high school. About the same time, or just before, I'd started getting into racialism, but reading up on the history of the effects of Islam on Europe threw me far away from Islam. I turned straight to white nationalism, then national socialism. I became a member of The Phora (link is in my signature) and Aryan Dawn (which later evolved into Skadi) around this time, when I was 15 or 16 years old. I read a lot of George Lincoln Rockwell and Mein Kampf, and I was pretty well versed in racial differences, crime statistics, important dates and all that. I turned against National Socialism, but remained a racialist, when I read more on National Bolshevism (especially the writings of Alexander Dugin) after a bunch of guys when NB on the Phora. I considered myself NB after reading most of what I could on it, and though most people abandoned NB and considered it a 'joke', I started reading a lot on Marxism, particularly Lenin, Gramsci and Theodore Ardono, which certainly helped flesh out my perspective on how society works. I also read the first, more theoretical chunk of Manufacturing Consent by Chomsky, which was quite good, and read more on alternatives to Marxism (corporatism, guild socialism, re-read Rocker on Syndicalism). Though severely heated argument on National Bolshevism vs. Objectivism against FadeTheButcher, I dropped NB in favour of Objectivism, which appeared the more logical 'ideology' though I've now come to disagree. I read all of Rand's fiction and a few of her non-fiction books, and then started reading up on the Austrian school of economics, whose works I quite enjoy, though I'm not a free-market'er. I read Roy Child's Open Letter to Ayn Rand (http://www.no-treason.com/wild/Child...r_to_Rand.html) on Anarchism, and I eventually turned to hold this position against Moody Lawless in several heated arguments here, first on grounds of capitalism (which I supported at the time), and then anarchism, and then I reconciled my inclinations to racialism by adopting National Anarchism. I finally 'thought my way through the party' (to reference Nietzsche), and threw Objectivism away, and along with several discussions with FadeTheButcher, started reading up on Foucault (though I still don't understand why he enjoyed Baudrillard), and I now own almost all of his works. Fade suddenly turned to enjoying Carl Schmitt, and posting chunks of it on the Phora and using his ideas in arguments, which I found rather fascinating, and I took some of his ideas, and thought through them rather thoroughly, and I still think Carl Schmitt is one of my most important influences. This happened when I was about 17 or so. I re-thought much of my positions, and came to the same conclusions as Fade did when he turned to Aristotle and various Communitarian thinkers, except he did reading instead of thinking With more thinking, and arguments on topics of Marxism, I'm consolidating the knowledge I've already got, and I think my political evolution has come to a conclusion. I've basically settled down on a combination of protectionism, nativism, and Anglo-Saxon (Anglo-Celtic in case of Australia) imperialism. So I've come full circle, almost. I understand my ideas a lot better than I used to, suffice to say.

I think my answer will probably be the longest anyone's going to put foward here
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

AW: Share with us your own political evolution.

I had started rather late to be interested in politics. After I had left my parents home, I lived alone as a singel, had my fun and I thought that I am only responsible for myself. Of course I was unsatisfied with the government in Germany, but this dissatisfaction was not conscious. My activities were top-priority concentrated on my job.

My attitude changed when I started a family. Since I have my children, I was slowly aware of the importance of the future, especially of Germany's future, because children are our future. And if I look to the other political directions, I cannot see any future there. Slowly, but permanent I moved more and more to the right side. Of course this process is not finished, because I will never finish learning.

Aber wer sie weiß und sie eine Lüge nennt, der ist ein Verbrecher.

AW: Share with us your own political evolution.

I wasnt interested in politics until I was around 15. My parents and my family is quite conservative, anyway, so I guess I was characterized by them as a child.

Then I saw and read several things with my own eyes (foreigner-groups in our cities, crimes of foreigners, Germans feel foreign in their own district, etc.), so I became politically awared. I supported a big "conservative" party in Germany, but with the time, I saw that they arent really conservative...they are neoliberal and in favor of Multiculturalism more or less. So I abandoned these party, and now Im waiting for a party who is REAL right-wing-conservative (paleo-convervative), but not fascist or nationalsocialist (since I think democracy may not be the perfect system, but it“s the best we have).
The current political class have led democracy ad absurdum, the people arent getting asked about different important decisions (EU, foreign-policy, and so on), so Ive the opinion that our political system needs a big revision - but not with a dictatorial system as a outcome.

Re: Share with us your own political evolution.

I was raised and groomed to be a conservative and neo-conservative (US). I thought it was funny how people went to liberal colleges and then had this "liberal" awakening. I moved towards libertarianism and centrism in undergrad. During my grad work in northern cal. I experienced a sickening display of kneejerk leftism, blind foolish praise of communism, self aggrandizing humanitarianism, and cowardly rightists kowtowing to universalism. When I moved to the south I saw more of the same actually, but it was made more pathetic by the desperate desire of distinctly provincial locals to participate in the international, metropolitan heresy.

My ideal political system would be a small (20 mil max., ideal 5 mil.) nation-state that divides when it grows to maximum, maintains vehemently its national sovereignty and is probably plebiscitory or direct democracy. I like certain things about pre 20th c. Switzerland, the american indian nations and groups like moravians and the former shakers. I would like every citizen or member to feel as his distinct burden and privelege the right and obligation to represent everyone else's interests, sort of an extensive consensual clan or chiefdom mentality. I haven't worked it all out but am trying to piece together all the aspects of a life of quality into a working whole. I think this would also include a few fine, high-speed trains going across beautiful green land or mountains.

Well I'll have to articulate it later. Yes, I know Im continously doing this, Im sorry. Im already a few weeks late in answering Frau_Hierl's PM to me, Leofric wants me to give a commentary on the future prospects of "Aryan paganism"(and I formulated my thoughts only yesterday DAMN!), and so on.
