    Classify Philip II

Philip II of Spain (I of Portugal), his father was Charles I of Spain (V of Germany) son of Philip of Habsbourg and of Juana of Castilla, his mother was Isabella of Portugal, daughter of Manuel I of Portugal and Mary of Aragón. So 1/4 German, 1/2 Spanish, and 1/4 Portuguese.

    Re: Classify Philip II

I think he was pred. Nordid with some Dinarid influence (not much) but the Dinarid influence was less marked compared with his father. In his father we can talk about admixture. "Carlos I de Espańa y V de Alemania" was a quite good example of Nordid/Dinarid type in my opinion.

Bańuelos has some interesting comments about the typical chin of the Habsburgs. http://forums.skadi.net/showthread.php?t=60468

Phillips's mother "Isabel de Portugal" was a beautifull Nordid woman. Probably the most beautiful queen we have had.
