If you decide that Aryan means Indo-Europeans, then yes, Celts were/are Aryan. The Indo-Aryans branched out into groups, the best known were the Celts, the Slavs, Germans and Baltics. These four groups arrived in Europe from 4000BC until 500BC.

They had the advantage over mediteraneans because they knew the secret of iron working, so they are often refered to as the "battle axe people".

Hmm, let me list all the nordic Indo-Aryan groups:

Latini: mixed with mediteraneans and founded Rome
Dorics: founders of Greece in 1100 BC
Slavs: settled in present day Poland, Belorussia and Ukraine
Scythians: in 700 BC took over slavic territory and also went east to Asia minor and the Near East.
Sarmations: in 200 BC replaced the Scythians although all of the same race.
Goths: Conquered the Sarmations with altogether later formed the slavs. (Some of which later mixed with non-white Asiatic Huns)

There are also the Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Franks, Vandals, Alans and Sueves, etc.....

Other tribes went to China, Japan, India and Afghanistan, only to become racially mixed later in time; like they are today.

The Celts invented chain link armor, iron horse shoes, seamless iron chariot wheels and soap.

If you want to know more about this stuff, go to google.com (the best search engine ever) and look up any one of these tribe names, or teutons, ancient-(pick a country: ex. ancient germans, ancient swedes, etc.) or indo-europeans. You can find a great deal of information from unbiased sources that way.
