They are on average more attractive, especially males being generally preferred if having more progressive traits and they dominate in the upper social strata.

The Samis are paleo-Europeans. They are descendants of the ice-age population of the Iberian refuge. As the ice melted and the edge of the glacier kept retreating northwards, the hunter-gatherers moved slowly northwards along the west coast of Europe, i.e. from Spain and France via the Benelux countries and northwest Germany to Denmark and Norway. The Samis are descendants of this hunter-gatherer population.

Lappoids have a Cromagnoid component, thats not the question, the question is do they have Central-East Asian admixture and how did they develop the partly Mongoloid characteristics. And fact is, they deviate, by specialisation and/or admixture towards the Mongoloid racial groups and moved away from the Europid standard.

Aye, and there's a good genetics paper in PDF that there's a link to on this forum somewhere, but that's not where they got their language from. You need to introduce an eastern element here too, then you'll have it. The proportions would be interesting, though I doubt we'll get decent statistics.

Or can anyone defend the Finnic languages as palaeoeuropean?

Finns are Indo-Europeanized Ugrics; Saamis are remnants of the Northern Eurasian (Ugric) race. Saamis are no tribes, no nations, no leaders... they're close to semi-nomads, not more.
The "white issue" is impossible in regards to Samer. They're part of the Arctic heritage, that's all, and their race is Northern Eurasian; just as the Komi, the Yakutsk/Tungusian (even long way from eachother), and the Tavast Finns (originally).
Saamis are remnants of an old race; neither "white" (anglo-saxon concept) nor other; just Arctic-North Eurasian.

Probably not much.

Mostly through the bottleneck effect and through divergent evolution (diverging from the European mainstream, like American Indians diverged from Asians).

Persons what i chose were mainly athletes,politicians and even reality-tv members or member so imo there wasnt that much beauty in my thread "classify northern finns".I mean that these persons didnt rose to fame by their beauty but their skills.

-Vespians (They have the highest % of blondism in the world). Unfortunately, they are subjected to Russification and they will likely go extinct in a few decades.

However, the relationship between Hungarians and the latter two are very distant.

The Khanty and the Mansi both only number under 10,000. They are also predominately Mongoloid and they live East of the Urals.

I saw some pictures of him in the past, but going after this one I'd say Nordoid-Cromagnoid with Lappoid admixture. Can't really call him a classic Baltid nor Eastbaltid in my opinion.

Language and genetics are two different things.

I'm an old fashioned reactionary, but also a former English teacher - I don't think a group can easily learn a language without prolonged and intimate contact with the language givers. There were no TEFL [teaching of English as a Foreign Language], or rather TFFL!, in ancient northern Europe so I think a fusion of two northern groups is necessary to explain the Saami.

I've read a bit of the former's works and can safely pronounce them as little more than fantastical amateurism + wishful thinking.

But anyway, can I ask your opinion on the linguistic affiliations of the preFinnic-speaking Lapps?

That's interesting about the blondism. From what I've seen of the language, they're not too far removed from Suomi, Karelians, Eesti, or Vods. Or Livs, Ludi, and Liviki, if we want the full list!

About Russification - we shouldn't despair too much. Maybe one day, things in that part of the world will improve, and we'll see a phenomenon like that in Cornwall - their language is very well recorded, and future revivalists shouldn't have too much trrouble from that point of view. The question is - will they maintain their self identity? And that's up to them at the end of the day.
