    Just thin needles-
    It's so thin, the light.
    And there's is so little of it.

    Darkness is vast
    Light is only thin needless in the endless night.

    And it has to travel so far
    through desolate space
    So let us be gentle with it.
    Cherish it.

    So that it will return tomorrow.
    Let's hope.

    The right shot, at the right moment, does not come because you do not let go of yourself. You are not waiting for fulfillment, but bracing yourself for failure. So long as this is so, you have no choice but to call forth something from yourself that ought to happen independently of you.

    D.T Suzuki

    One is not worthy to have what one, through weakness, lets be taken from him; one is not worthy of it because one is not capable of it.

    But let the individual man lay claim to ever so many rights because Man or the concept man ‘entitles’ him to them, because his being man does it: what do I care for his right and his claim? If he has his right only from Man and does not have it from me, then for me he has no right. His life, for example, counts to me only for what it is worth to me. I respect neither a so-called right of property (or his claim to tangible goods) nor yet his right to the ‘sanctuary of his inner nature’ (or his right to have the spiritual goods and divinities, his gods, remain un-aggrieved). His goods, the sensuous as well as the spiritual, are mine, and I dispose of them as proprietor, in the measure of my -- might.

    I do not demand any right, therefore I need not recognize any either. What I can get by force I get by force, and what I do not get by force I have no right to, nor do I give myself airs, or consolation, with my imprescriptible right. With absolute right, right itself passes away; the dominion of the "concept of right" is cancelled at the same time. For it is not to be forgotten that hitherto concepts, ideas, or principles ruled us, and that among these rulers the concept of right, or of justice, played one of the most important parts.
    Entitled or unentitled -- that does not concern me, if I am only powerful, I am of myself empowered, and need no other empowering or entitling. Right -- is a wheel in the head, put there by a spook; power -- that am I myself, I am the powerful one and owner of power. Right is above me, is absolute, and exists in one higher, as whose grace it flows to me: right is a gift of grace from the judge; power and might exist only in me the powerful and mighty.

    We had better dispense with the personification of evil, because it leads, all too easily, to the most dangerous kind of war: religious war.

    The bond with a true dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth will ever be.

    Most of the vices and mortal sins condemned today correspond to inclinations that were purely adaptive or at least harmless in primitive man.

    Evil, by definition, is that which endangers the good, and the good is what we perceive as a value.

    Historians will have to face the fact that natural selection determined the evolution of cultures in the same manner as it did that of species.

    Across the heath I walked, the heath so wide and vast,
    And solitude whispered sullen words in my ear.

    It whispered of times dead and gone, when the aurochs still roamed,
    When the eagle circled high in the sky above the marsh,
    When the wolf, the fierce one, left death runes in the sand,
    When the elk, the strong one, was still felled by the hunters hand.

    Before foreign ways turned good into evil,
    And noble Wodan and Frigga were yet highly honored;
    When manly courage, and not just worldly wealth, held sway,
    When the hero maintained his right with drawn sword;
    Not with cowardly words and cheap oaths;
    This the deathlike solitude secretly taught me.

    Our gods were once called love and power,
    Power to procreate, love to make pleasure bloom.

    Our law was terse, our law was this:
    Redeem love with love, and hate with hate.
    Loyal hand to every man who proved friend.
    A bloody hand to the wight who approached as an enemy.

    Different times passed across the heath,
    Wodan's sacred woods fell pray to the treacherous axe;
    Frigga the loving lady, was turned into a witch,
    Every holy stead dishonoured as a loathsome site;

    Wodan's noble raven was called not the gallow's bird,
    Rigga's roguish little owl insulted as a savage corpse's hen;
    And thirteen, that sacred number of secrets,
    Was at once a number of misforture and fear.

    Among the oaks stood a single thatched-room house,
    From the mossy gable, horses stretched their necks;
    Beneath it, a heart-shaped opening was cut for the owls, in keeping with a friendly age old custom.
    On the grey door, the sacred circle was displayed, carved and colored as in the days of old.
    And the good sun rune right beside,
    Just like the forefathers earnest, unyielding ways would have it.

    On either side of the black wall of the death
    Wodan's battle horse boldly reared up;
    As if it wished to whinny to me with all of its strength:
    Even now I carry Wodan still, my friend, and you still trust Frigga

    I walked on further across the twilight land,
    Behind which the sun sank down, round and red.
    On the other side across the brownish marsh,
    A glowing red flame rose toward the starless sky.

    The white smoke billowed up before the pitch black forest,
    Until it slowly disappeared in the evening clouds.
    And I stood and stayed, gazing and the fire's glow,
    And listened to the girls' cheering and the young boys' shrill shouts,
    And I laughed and thought:
    Despite it all, the joyful ways of our ancestors
    Have been kept alive by my people

    Still they honour their Gods in the beautiful way of their forefathers, with glowing embers and white whirling smoke.
    Still it remains as it was in ancient times.
    Blue of eyes and mind, light of heart and hair.
    They have kept their bodys and spirits yet strong,
    Still healthy are their limbs, their blood and marrow.

    Across the heath I walked, the heath so wide and vast,
    And solitude whispered joyful words in my ear.

    (English Translation: Markus Wolff)
    I enjoy this Lons work quite a bit. I would like to read more of his work though my deutsch is unfortunately quite limited. He was a far too unknown Volkisch author and poet that Germans ought be proud of.

    The Kiss Precise

    For pairs of lips to kiss maybe
    involves no trigonometry.
    'Tis not so when four circles kiss
    each one the other three.
    To bring this off the four must be
    as three in one or one in three.
    If one in three, beyond a doubt
    each gets three kisses from without.
    If three in one, then is that one
    thrice kissed internally.

    Four circles to the kissing come.
    The smaller are the benter.
    The bend is just the inverse of
    the distance from the center.
    Though their intrigue left Euclid dumb
    there's now no need for rule of thumb.
    Since zero bend's a dead straight line
    and concave bends have minus sign,
    the sum of the squares of all four bends
    is half the square of their sum.

    To spy out spherical affairs
    an oscular surveyor
    might find the task laborious,
    the sphere is much the gayer,
    and now besides the pair of pairs
    a fifth sphere in the kissing shares.
    Yet, signs and zero as before,
    for each to kiss the other four
    the square of the sum of all five bends
    is thrice the sum of their squares.

    - Frederick Soddy
    And let us not confine our cares
    to simple circles, planes and spheres,
    but rise to hyper flats and bends
    where kissing multiple appears,
    in n-ic space the kissing pairs
    are hyperspheres, and Truth declares -
    as n + 2 such osculate
    each with an n + 1 fold mate
    the square of the sum of all the bends
    is n times the sum of their squares.

    - Thorold Gosset
    How frightfully pedestrian
    my predecessors were
    to pose in space Euclidean
    each fraternising sphere!
    Let Gauss' k squared be positive
    when space becomes elliptic,
    and conversely turn negative
    for spaces hyperbolic:
    squared sum of bends is sum times n
    of twice k squared plus squares of bends.

    I lost almost everything when it happened.
    But which remained are my dreams and my own reality.
    The try to capture the dreams that once was scattered.
    The try to re-find the self in the memory of him
    With the abilities of the spirit and the tool of the understand my own
    reality.

    And I know,his absent and his memories remains as reality. In another world I will see him some day.
