    Sv: What is your favorite language(s) beside your native language?

    Portugese, sounds and feels right. Also I'm hopefully going to move to Brazil, the country where physical beauty is an artform more than anywhere else, and leave the sad social-democratic dictatorship of Sweden forever.
    I like diversity, the only thing about diversity I don't like is middle-eastern and oriental people.

    Another nice language is greek. It's so strong and hard. I know a little greek, very little, and would probably be able to master the language in about a year, if I moved to Greece.

    Romanian also sounds good.

    German-It's a rough,but beautiful language and i have to say i like all germanic languages and i'm curentlly trying to learn welsh or celtic.
    Japanese-a very powerfull and raw language,yet fluent and elegant.It's not at all hard to learn and once you lear the simplified versions of kenji it's no big deal.
    That's about it for now

    Plattdeutsch- music to the ears, beautiful earthy language, language of my ancestors, eerily familiar sound for English-speakers.
    Old English- || ||
    Frisian- || ||
    Dutch- hearty Germanic language, the beef stew of languages.
    German- elegant, yet great for barking orders, very "sharp"-sounding, language of my ancestors
    Proto-Germanic- Beautiful in writing, "Classical Germanic", must have sounded beautiful too.
    Latin-rhythmic language, lingua franca of the ancient world.
    Greek- melodic, beautiful in writing, precise.

    -I love the great despisers, because they are the great adorers, and arrows of longing for the other shore. -Thus Spake Zarathustra

    English, sounds probably a bit dull but that´s the language I love, the endless vocabulary just fascinates me.

    Swedish, ofcourse, the language of my mother and my ancestors (not my "mother language")! Beauatifull!

    Islandic, I would really like to learn some. Thats the language the great sagas were written.

    1) All of the Celtic languages: Welsh, Breton, Cornish, etc.

    2) Old Norse (Poetic language, just beautiful)

    3) Proto-Germanic (Love those -az, -oz endings)

    I agree with Nicola. Italian is one of my favorite languages. Along with Polish, Finnish, Norse, and Low German.
