    I only saw like 2 min of the game yesterday,but today I´ll see Sweden kick Trinidad-Tobagos a**

    I was both games yesterday, Germany played ok, even without Ballack, you have a strong team that's for sure. The journalist said here that the Poland debut was disappointing.

    The only game I didn't watch was England-Paraguay I was sleeping (It's Saturday ).

    But I'll watch Sweden-Trinidad y Tobago, and after that ARGENTINA-Ivory Coast .


    So who are you rooting for in those games?

    Germany were playing Costa Rica, yes they won 4-2, but they conceded 2 goals against a weak team, in the first game on their home soil. I think it highlights Germany's weak defence.

    LOL I know they played against Costa Rica, I was talking about Poland against Ecuador , Poland lost 2-0 and people was saying it was disappointing.

    About the German game, yes you're right, but they won and scored four goals, in a game without their main star.

    Doesn't mean anything. Conceding such goals against a very small weak team, on home soil etc, is very negative.
    Point is, if the defence is weak with a relatively weak opponent, what will the performances be like against teams whom are stronger, Argentina, Italy etc.
    No team is a good team if it relies on one player.

    Well you english sure like to bash the german team.

    But after todays performance by your own team I would better concentrate on that. Did they even have one shot from inside the box?

    Concerning the german performance, I wouldnt say the defense is weak, they only have some problems with the offside trap. The defenders itself are good german quality.

    People, people...

    The world cup isn't about playing well, and certainly not in the group stages. It's hard to mantain a stylish and joyful play throughout the whole tournament.

    The most important point of yesterday and this afternoon is that the Germanics won - and perhaps can continue winning without demonstrating superior play, so when the 1/8 finals are there, England and Germany are in perfect shape.
