Celtic.
Well, it's a culture that is just a stone throw away for us English![]()
Hellenic! I have always had great respect for the Greeks.
-Hyge sceal ðe heardre, heorte ðe cénre, mód sceal ðe máre, þý úre mægen lytlaþ. -The Battle of Maldon
-I love the great despisers, because they are the great adorers, and arrows of longing for the other shore. -Thus Spake Zarathustra
Hellenic![]()
Celtic - since they were the main power in Central Europe before the Germanics came from the north.![]()
And furthermore, many names nowadays have celtic roots...f.e. names of villages, names of rivers (Danube)...and so on. There´re some celtic ruins in my region, too. I suppose there is also some celtic genetic influence into our (Bavarian) people

Absolutely, the very name; Bayern < Boii-waren, Germans who had expanded into the former territory of the Celti Boii.Originally Posted by Valkyrie

Celtic, of course. It is my ancestry.
I'd have to say the Hellenic peoples, they have contributed much to Europe as a whole.
I picked Romance, for obvious reasons ..
I think the threadmeister intended only the Germanics to vote here .. otherwise, every one who is not Germanic (like me) will be voting in favour of their own tribe, and it'll just turn into a "what tribe are you"/"Which tribe is more prevalent here" type deal.
Emm I think I need some sleep.
Cheers,
Well I resisted the temptation to vote Celtic, as I felt it wasn't really suitable. It ought to be "Favourite Tribe which you're not related to."Originally Posted by Veritas Aequitas
I picked the Slavyane. They're really full of themselves, and include in their number the greatest chauvinistic pseudohistorians in the world.![]()
