    Question Classify these Central Asians

The ladies are from Turkmenistan or ethnic Turkmen from Iran, and the fellas are Afghans.

The little girl has dark blond hair and light mixed (mostly green) eyes. The black and white picture isn't clear. The Khatami fan in red is probably brunette/dark eyed. The girl in the fez covered by a green silk looks European to me.

Of the Afghans I have no idea what tribal affiliation any of them have except the third is Uzbek. The first is named Satar Nyazi, no idea what that means. The second is likely Pashtun.

My theory is, if one were to give these people Western clothing and suitable hairstyles and no one would think they are Central Asians.

    Megathread

Let's just make this the default fair-pigmented Central Asian Megathread, shall we?

Fatima Gailani and her father, Pir Sayyed Ahmad Gailani, leader of the Islamic mystic order of Sunni Sufi Muslims. The Gailanis, who are Pashtun, support a basically secular government incorporating Islamic law and Afghan tradition, with a parliament chosen by free elections.

The school girls of Kabul are highly visible on the streets going to and from the newly opened government schools.

In a private courtyard a young woman feels confident enough to be photographed with her burqa folded back from her face.

The teenage girls wear the bright colors of their ethnic groups, and seem to embrace this new opportunity to work together, earn money, and be friends.

Zakia Habibi, a mother, wife, and administrator in the credit department of the Afghanistan Agricultural Bank. Without electricity or running water, on a monthly salary one/tenth the size of an average daily salary in the US, she is rebuilding her life after years of being forbidden to work and being under the burqa.

Many are assimilable, and I prefer people like them rather than all that scum streaming to Europe.

A small minority in the regions, used by the media to assimilate muslims into the melting pot of America. There are people in Afghanistan (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) who claim GREEK ancestry, said to be remnants of Alexanders Empire, and others call themselves, HAYRANI, or AYRAN, most of which are not ethnic Agars (iran-afghans). Pashton is a language not a group. The Pashton group, like the Farsi, is made up of several different differing groups. We musnt also forget that Russia dominated these regions, and were known for raping women on several accounts. Islamic rule (not to practice abortion or oppose racial mixing). Either way Turkmens are not euripid.
